The greatest sadness is that the lead vocalist Keaton has since passed away (in 2023) and is now with his baby sister Eiley ❤

Yes, Eiley Joy was Keaton's little sister. She passed away when she was 3. This was Keaton's song about her. It's beautifully heartbreaking. We then lost Keaton (lead singer of Too Close To Touch) very unexpectedly just 2 years ago. He was an incredible guy and the band is amazing. Everything they put out is worth listening to and he sounded the same live as on all recordings. Eiley is a hard one for me to listen to, but such a beautiful tribute.

Glad you had the time to check this out! First of all, sorry for your loss and I can relate 100%. This song hits very close to home and is one of the few songs who make me cry, almost everytime

Her name is pronounced (eye-lee) Eiley. Very beautiful name. Such a powerful song.

So, from what Keaton said in an interview, he began breaking down towards the end of the song while recording. The producer or whatever decided to keep it in

I can never listen to this song without breaking down. The emotion in the bridge is just so heavy. RIP Keaton you were such an amazing vocalist and person.

Hearing this one for the first time tore me apart…one the most beautiful but heart breaking songs in metal… RIP Eiley and Keaton…

too close to touch is such an underrated band, and i really dont think they have a bad song, and great job not being a small react channel that doesnt do the music through speakers. . . got yourselves a new sub
