Yeah 50 signed them on the strength that he wanted to see 2 legends in a better place. And of course it was a Queens thing. Prodigy said in his book that when he attended the first meeting with 50 to sign them, he took a gun because he thought it was a setup. 50 really took care of them too, helped line their pockets. Can’t hate that.

@@theformuladoclj We all were shocked when we heard that especially me when I listen to the autobiography book
Prodigy spoke on that fight with the Lost Boyz in his book and I think I remember him saying that it was strictly a brawl, no guns were pulled.
In the audiobook which I listen to every year. Prodigy speaks on a situation where one of 50s bodyguard kinda manhandled him, yanking his arm. Prodigy punched the guy in the mouth, his arm was even infected and took some time to heal. He spoke with 50 about what happened and 50 understood it was never a brawl. When he describe G Unit as Hyenas it was the code for when they were getting groupies while on tour. Mobb Deep were the Vultures and G Unit were the hyenas. They called themselves that because they competed for the groupies that 50 didn’t want. I really hate Vlad so much I believe his informed ass does this on purpose. I pray for the downfall of this entire platform.

RIP Prodigy, from what I hear about him & these FIGHTS, it seem like he grow up with "Small &/or Skinny Guy" syndrome, which if you don't know, is when you're small or skinny, like a chihuahua, & you have to stand your ground or pick a fight against the biggest guys in the room. Especially having Sickle cell anemia, he was not trying to show weakness around anybody. He went to LA to make an "LA, LA" diss music video in retaliation to a song which wasn't suppose to be a diss. I heard later in life before his death, he's calmed down a bit, hate that Mobb Deep ended their long streak of staying together over social media, but man, did Prodigy give us plenty of memories & plenty of music.
