The scene where Tony gets back to earth and is lashing out is probably the best acted scene in the entire MCU. I love the dichotomy of Cap and Tony’s relationship. Can’t wait for more vids. We always want more Iron man, Slyfer2812. You’re the man.

If you squint hard enough, you'll see that scene is an inverse mirror of him getting home from Afghanistan. Even the scene beats sync up, even the manic reaction to getting back. But this time, Tony didn't solve anything. He just survived at everyone else's expense...and he can't accept that.

Johnathon Haney I never noticed how it mirrored the original Iron-man. I’ll have to check that out. It’ll be much easier when I can get Endgame on digital. The scene is just superb though. We’ve seen cocky Tony, heroic Tony, even PTSD Tony, and RDJ acted the shit out of them. Then we get to this scene in Endgame and we get, beaten Tony. This scene is the culmination of everything Tony (and many of his loyal fans) felt since the ending of Civil War. It’s compounded by the fact that Thanos just fucked the universe, but RDJ puts such raw emotion into this scene. I really felt like he was saying everything I wanted to say to Steve. Anyone who claims superhero movies are all just bombastic nonsense and don’t involve any real standout acting performances, I’d encourage you to watch this scene. In fact I’d encourage you to watch 90% of RDJ’s work in the MCU.

I never realized how Tony & Steve’s individual endings represent the lesson they learned from each other. Tony’s was the humility to make the sacrifice play, Steve’s was to find the simple things in life and enjoy having a normal life. These two are the perfect parallel characters, both polar opposites but their flaws complete each other and overall they compliment each other in a story. Fucking fantastically written character dynamic.

Agree it was a nice mirroring but actually Tony was ready to sacrifice himself when he flew into the portal all the way back in Avengers. Steve was always wrong with that assumption. They just said it to hurt each other at a point when they really knew nothing about each other.

Their relationship is so... special I would have wanted to see more moment where they talk or argue.. theses caracters are so interesting and these moments are priceful

I think one thing that is always overlooked is the dependancy both these characters had on each other which is why endgame was so emotional. Steve was always reliant on Tony for a strategy or and an idea to overcome a problem and Tony was always reliant on Steve to lead and his ability to never surrender which pushed the team. The development of these two characters in infinity war and endgame was incredible!

Not a Perfect soldier, but a good man.. And a proof, that Tony Stark has a heart♥️ I Love your videos they make me cry sometimes, but all this feelings in ur videos you put in, are amazing❤️ Love you 3000❤️

The friendship Steve and Tony had is the best in the Marvel universe. They been through so much together, they have so much respect for each other, they started in a place where they hated each other and have been at odds with each other but in the end, when Cap and Iron Man team up, there is no way they lose.

An amazing friendship. An amazing team.

I am so glad I got to grow up with all of them. And looking back to all the movies I realized how they all grew up. Every single one of them. And it didn't happen overnight, it happened through lots of fighting, struggle, and risks. They failed, but they continued to push forward, they fought with each other but they also forgive one another. And you don't notice the growth. The moment you realized they are all better versions of themselves you try and find the point of that switch, but you can'. Because everything we're going through in life is meant to build us a little more. And the fact that our heroes failed, struggled, lost, fought, but still continued to push forward is so reassuring. Because, if them, the ones who should be the strongest and the bravest, also have downs (not just ups), then so can I. And maybe one day I can also be a hero like them (not with superpowers, but in doing what's right for the world, but also for myself) And the friendship between Steve and Tony is just so painfully realistic. Like, they both have the same goal, but don't agree on a lot of things. They both still love, care and accept one another. But what every friendship have is fighting. And they fought. And that's okay. BEcause it's okay to feel and think differently. I'm rambling again xD but because I love these characters so much. ANd with Endgame it feels like my childhood ended and that now I'm somehow an adult... It's a weird feeling. Now I feel much more responsible for my life and my choices than before...I read somewhere that somehow, we all grew up somewhere in between Ironman 1 and Endgame and that is so true. I couldn't be prouder to grew up with all of them as my heroes. and Slyfer, your edit skills are just amazing ! you know how to make me cry and feel things I don't want to xD so thank you and keep on making these !

The very backbone of the mcu these two, they learned so much from each other, trusted and was there for each other even after they’re biggest falling out, they understood each other but were somehow like water to a oil fire but they always somehow had a way to put that fire out. The representation the mcu gave these two is unique and we probably won’t see another like this for a long time.

These two men changed my life in such a positive way. They're the role models I wish I had in real life. Captain America is only 10 years older than me, so I think of him like an older brother. And Tony Stark is much older, so i'd like to think of him as the dad I never had. Thank you, Gentlemen for being so great.

I'm still not okay after watching Endgame and these two guys are the main reason for it. I love their journey, their friendship, and the lessons they've learned from each other. They helped each other grow to become the best version of themselves. Steve helped Tony learn to fight for others, while Tony helped Steve learn to fight for himself. Both turned the flaws the other saw in them into their strengths. Thank you for making this tribute to their friendship. Despite the ups and downs they went through, in the end they truly cared about each other.
