I was there in Palm Spring in June of 2000. To this day, the thing I am most appreciative for, proud of, and have 'no regrets' for is that I had the courage to participate in Tony's prgrams. I did them all. Do youself a favor, go... the younger you are the better. You will come away witj an appreciation for others and yourself, professionally, spiritually, and humanistically at a level of awareness not common in these times. I am 65 now, and it was the single most important thing I did in my life.

Do you remember how Carol reacted and what happened after the intervention? I am kind of curious because I forwarded that intervention video to a lady named Becky Kogut who's daughter was brutally murdered by her boyfriend in her dorm room at Brockport College in 2012. It was right after my first UPW in November 2013 and the trial for Clayton Whittemore (her daughter Alex's killer) was beginning and the 911 tapes from that horrific night were being released to the public. Becky got a great deal of comfort from that very intervention from what I understand.

Wow! I saw the Not your Guru film, but this stuff is heavy. Not just how Tony reacts but the level of hurt, miscommunication and pain, loved ones can put on eachother... and how great it is to see that quickly after tears come the smiles again...

Tony An enlightened person should not swea. How did you come to this? Haven't you heard of the 'Hidden Messages in Water". Swear words have an awful vibration and do not belong in the mouth of the wise.

Tony is doing an intervention & the only way to shake them & wake them up in such a short time is to be very Intense, that's the only reason He uses those words. Plus He knows how the brain works, specially at a subconscious level.

It`s called a pattern interrupt. The therapy he uses is to interrupt their thoughts and feelings by using words and actions that are considered crazy. He then makes them re-associate their feelings to something else.

  • @alistairmackinnon4216

Oh really, 'pattern interrupt'...mmmmh I thought it was a funky combination of gestalt, encounter, Ericksonian language and a dash of old school 12 step intervention... But hey... he could have used a swish pattern, a timeline progression or a few other techniques before going the full Glasgow on a Saturday night. Horses for courses ,I guess.. but he does walk away with the cash.
