I know this movie was my childhood lol
My favorite part about Tony is how he wasn't exactly the biggest, the strongest or even the smartest. However his confidence and attitude is what made him badass which carried him and elevated him to the top.

took him all the way to the top of the lowest of all. Great description of how ego can appear so huge yet in reality is very tiny.

I keep coming back to this. I am probably the biggest Scarface fan. Ive seen it about 50 times and Ive even read the script multiple times. I saw it when I was young and I was blown away by it and never get bored of it. I have to say that this is brilliant, it really captures the pain and intensity of the film. Whoever put this together has poetry in their Soul and is my brother.
it hurts more when you realize he hurt the only two people that truly loved him.

The character was inspired in part by an cocaine dealer in the 80's. The real life story of this guy actually ended better than the movie he severed time and now he has a private zoo and probably still sells cocaine.

just watched this movie for the first time today and it is one of the best ive ever seen
The only edit i've seen that captures the essence of what made this movie so loved by so many people, sure it' the the movies original style/flare but it's the themes highlighted in this edit that was always the core elements of what made this film popular among countless generations. This edit took out the raw flare/aggression and highlighted the tragic elements, for a few seconds this edit makes you d think this film would resemble the godfather.
Man Al Pacino is such a good actor this puts this role into perspective how much range he got
He got lost with power but he was amazing.

Tornike Tvalchrelidze nah, Tony became a villain in the end. Anti hero still does good deeds, but handles them in a dark manner. Tony was straight up losing himself, and became the villain.

I'm 63 and lived a very fast and full life & laid back spirituality as well. I nvr could bring myself to watch Scarface as a teen but i saw it for the first time about 10 years ago. Absolutely epic! Now I see what all the hoopla was about on so many levels. I'm ready to watch it again.

One word brilliant
Saw the movie yesterday for the very first time. Instant favorite. Such a great film.
This made me think of how he got snubbed an oscar nod. As a character actor, Al is the goat to me. He's inspired me for so many years. A Dogs Day Afternoon really is where he shined the best to me. And my favorite movie is Carlito's Way. I just find that film fascinating because of him. But this really hit a deep spot. Scarface is so well known nowadays. But if you grew up with it as a young child in the 80s you feel a different way about it. There's really been another film to do what this has done. Kids look up to Montana, shit so did I. But the message in this is very clear.....greed. That was his main downfall. I used to think it was him standing by his morals with no killing of women and children, but now I see. He wanted to rule the world, greed. One of the most powerful films of our time. Plus, it made for a cool GTA game lol. But I digress 💚🃏💜 thank you so much for all you do. 🙌🏾

Carlito's Way and Scarface are some of my most watched films... Carlito's Way has many cool characters in it besides Carlito Brigante, the film never bores me.
