@@dalebarrera5031 well maybe you don't know beacause you are a kid, but tony hawk had more sponsor contracts from the biggest companys all over the world, most NFL or NBA superstars would get jealous. Tony Hawk ist not one legned, he is THE legend for skatebaording iin the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s not only in the US, all over the WORLD. Besides that he sold clothes, shoes, skateboard and so on and a lot of skatekid all over the world bought it. He was THE idol for the sport. Besides that, the video games series "Tony Hawks Pro Skater" got a huuuge band, released on early every console, even Game Boy and Nintendo and Tony Hawk didnt just got 1 time payment for giving his name for the game - no he is earning money on EVERY game sold. But here's the thing, some people kill over these shoes, of course some people think these shoes are worth several hundred dollars. A sneakerhead may not think deeper into it. If that's your hobby, fine. But the only reason these sell for a thousand dollars is because they chose to make 5 of them and it still only costs like $20 to make them. Just like their mass produced shoes. And even their mass produced shoes are very overpriced because of marketing. People are told they're worth $200 so they accept it. If you want a cool pair of Jordans, get them but don't try to tell people they are actually worth $250. I would just say I had the money and I wanted them.

Punk rock, skating, hip-hop and saying “fuck the elite” will always be one and the same!!!! D SiLvER the reality is that the skate community perceives wealth in a negative way cuz most skaters are poor. So being the smart entrepeneur mofuka tht he is ,he faked his reaction to appear more humble than what he really is to avoid losing a sense of connection with his less fortunate skater friends and most importantly his future clientele. Remember that he's here to promote a video game that will probably make him millions . Don't be gullible.

He knew they were expensive, if you notice that moment when she gives him the price at 8:07, the director cut the scene and changed the camera angle and showed a different clip of his reaction. This is done in film and basically shows that they redid that shot multiple times to get the exact reaction they wanted. :) They don't typically have two camera guys right next to each-other taking two slightly different angles. She started to tell him the price and then they shift the angle of his response, it is obvious that he actually knew how much they were and was just trying to act surprised. :) Take another look, notice the angle change, multiple takes done to get that desired shot. :)

M T Beezy they have two people shooting video at the least dude. There’s absolutely no way, unless this was perfectly scripted, that they pulled off this many angles with one camera during the interview process. It’s not that expensive to hire two shooters especially if they already work at complex.
