For those saying Kort didn’t deserve this with Ziva being alive in the end keep in mind Tent Kort made the team’s lives hell since he showed up. Tried to kill Tony in season 5, had a hand in creating the port to port killer in season 8 who killed many including Mike Franks, and prior to this scene he personally killed several agency officials from different agencies including the original NCIS director he also tried to kill Fornell for being a witness. He may not have killed Ziva but Kort is not worth anyone’s tears.

I appreciate while they made Ziva’s “death” really personal for the entire team, not just Tony, McGee gets to be the one to say it’s personal, showing he really loved and cared about Ziva.

Pistol shooting uphill at an angle from 10 yards away sounds simple. It's not. Only Tony and Gibbs were on the same level ground as Kort.

Now THAT was satisfying......Kort was such a Bastard!!!

Cold & co-ordinated. Teamwork.

some time back, i binged through fifteen seasons of NCIS. Came to see every single character as my own family. Cried when one died, rejoiced when revenge or justice was served. still tear up over remembering how Ziva died... then jumping for joy when it turned out she hadn't.. (spoiler alert if you haven't watched it all).

Looking at the positions people were in, I’d say it was actually Tony and he was aiming for Korts middle (the greatest body mass and less chance of missing and hitting the others. If you look he’s only kind of aiming (hip fire) so not 100% accurate.

I like the fact that Tony didn't go in full-on "raging bull" - the shots he fired we basically like an act of catharsis - he already knew Kort wasn't getting out of this alive, and everyone else unloading their mags at Kort was already enough for him.

Tony felt so bad for Ziva the man looked like a cold blooded serial killer, like blowing Kort away was the least he could do.

He didn’t deserve that. He was trying to get his life back in order, and was even thinking of going back to school.

So, the scenarists made him dumb near the end out of nowhere to justify he tried to shoot, against a whole crew pointing guns at him all direction, and the whole team had a "valuable reason" to respond fire and kill him... Sure. You know, i would ask, how would have they done, if the bad guy wouldn't have done that? Well, probably jail, sudden escape, And Tony waiting to shoot at the back door.

There is a whole back door in between the guy and where some shots are hitting and they weren't even that far away. Yes from that range I definitely could do better.

After the Season 13 finale, I love every single episode of Seasons 14 and 15 because we meet and get to know more about Alexandra Quinn, Nicholas Torres, Clayton Reeves, and Jack Sloane.

next year 9 episodes we see tony and ziva together again. it was conformed earlier... have been waiting to see them back together for years

And here I thought you had to actually be able to shoot to be an NCIS agent. Some of those shots were missing by 2 to 3 feet.

Kort was definitely outnumbered and outgunned here. Not only by Gibbs, DiNozzo, McGee, and Bishop, but also by FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe and MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves.

I guess that concludes negotiations 😂 but seriously ever since 24 anytime I see Sarah Clarke I’m never convinced she’s actually a good guy lol she’s gotta be a double agent

It's implied in season 17 when she returns that Tony guessed the truth early on, since he later found her in Egypt. Also, will be interesting to see what these two get up to in the spin off show.

No, he realized after he learned he and Ziva had a daughter that he couldn't be an Agent anymore. He never had any regrets for killing Kort, especially since Kort was a cold-blooded assassin.

Mark Harmon chose to leave. He stated after 19 years, he wanted to do other things. I hate he left too, but can't fault him for leaving. He did give us 19 long years. Plus, his character is still alive so you never know when he'll show up unexpectedly. Gibbs would be in his 70s now anyway. Dude has earned and deserves his retirement

Classic case of death by cop. He knew they had him, he didn't want to face sever consequences so instigated his own death.

Satisfying perhaps, however did anybody else notice that several of the shots were WAY far off?

No time to aim. Kort was just about to fire so McGee shot towards him in the hope of distracting him. When a second can mean the difference between life and death you don't worry about being too accurate.

Knowing what we now know about Ziva, I feel differently about Kort.

Sometimes people have it coming for there bad deeds.

It was the broken glass that killed him...

Someone needs to go back to the gun range to get some more practice.😒 Holy shit man, the guy was at the back half of the car rolling towards the back/trunk of the car and the driver's window and rearview mirror got hit.😅

Someone wanted to see if the RoboCop program could be made a reality. Their aim truly sucked though, because at that range, they all should have been on target and on point. The only one with a reason for their aim to be off is the dude that got hit with the rock.
