Got to be honest, I've never heard of you before, but that was very good. I went to see Rainbow a couple of years ago, with Ronnie Romero singing, and it didn't really work for me, but you're much more convincing in place of Coverdale than he was for Bonnet/Dio/Turner/White etc 🙂

Best version of this track I've ever heard. There's not one second of this I would change, the mix, the musicianship, the sheer TALENT on display here is mind-blowing! Thank you guys so much for Bringing the Storm!

I would have liked some keyboards. To me Deep Purple were more keyboard driven than guitar driven for most of the track time in this era. In saying that Joel did a great job.

Joel, you kicked arse! Tony is always his awesome self who turns into one bad ass bass assassin as you well know. This was a tight, rocking project/song. I LOVED it! Dino is new to me, but WOW! What a set of pipes he has; and he's even sitting down.

Amazing. Every hit is great and felt. I'd venture to say he's too tasty for DT, I am satisfied that he wasn't forced into that machine. Love DT, went to school with a few of those guys, and Mike's a beast. But Virgil, he deserves a more free fit in a band.

Tony Franklin has always surrounded himself with amazing musicians and he has done it again here! Great job guys it sounded incredible. Anyone who thinks that fretless basses can’t kick butt in rock should listen to this song or anything by Blue Murder! If you haven’t heard of them, what rock have you been hiding under? Tony kicks some serious butt in that band as well!

I watched Virgil Donati play live 22 Nov 2019. Pay close attention to his Kick and Snare pairing. Always entertaining. Love it!

I enjoyed how each musician had a chance to deviate enough from the original to make their own mark on this timeless classic!

Dino, sensational as always, drummer is incredible.

I bought a Tony Franklin bass from a guy in South Carolina..........probably the closest I'm ever gonna get to that level is owning this bass.......I am totally awestruck by the entire band!!!!! GOLLY!!!!!

Absolutely off the charts and incredible musicality. I saw drummer Virgil Donati many years ago with bassist Bunny Brunel and he was a reel killer back then. Tony Franklin is, without doubt, one of a kind.

Absolutely killer. Can't tll you how many times I have heard this here, on FB,... Album this band NOW.

These guys need to..I dont know...I'm speechless. The song melted my brain it's that f-n good. Every. Single. One. Of. Them - monster talent here. THIS is what it's all about. THIS is why I picked up a guitar 42 years ago and STILL play today even with arthritis and not care - because this music is what inspired and continues to do so. It's why I STILL play out pour my heart into every show like im 18 all over again. Because it has RAW passion. We need more of THIS. Amazing. Thank you for sharing.

BTW Tony, this is a magnificent rendition of Stormbringer (and I have the original Deep Purple Stormbringer album to compare it to)! You are all virtuosos. I listen to this KZread video often. It sounds sooooo good.

I really appreciate it. Loved the breakdown with all the solos - loved the bass harmonics! Love your work and Joel’s and young Dino has some effing voice! When Deep Purple mashes up against Rainbow. This is a very Dioesque vocal interpretation, and it totally kicks ass. This is one of those rare instances where the cover is better than the original. Yes, I said that- because it’s true!

I think I like this better than the original and that is saying quite a lot. The solos and proggy arrangement are sweet as can be but the singer is unbelievable. Rock on!!
