When Do The Bells Ring For Me was written by Charles DeForrest- a NYC lounge pianist. A very talented man, who Mr. Bennett knew. I Remember him well.

Charles was an incredible person, could have been a Damon Runyan character, but a prolific talent. Would I first moved to New York I met him playing in a bar and we talked all night about music. An unforgetable person.

How could anyone give this a thumbs down? .No one with an ear for music. This is a fabulous performance. The man is a miracle of music. At 91 he's still singing so well ! God bless Mr. B! Cent'anni!

@@pamelacossey8604 My parents and grandparents did as well. When I went to college, I made cassettes of all my favorite Nat albums. Much to the utter dismay and disbelief of my roommate, haha!!! I've loved Tony since I was very young, too. He has a voice that can make me melt, cry, and twirl with happiness, at different times, of course. I only wish Mr. Cole had lived so long...

@@pamelacossey8604 Sigh...what perfection...everything about that song is perfect..vocals, accompaniment...you have great taste. I'd love to hear that followed up with Chet Baker's "I get along without you very well." By the way, I can't remember the name of a song & it's driving me crazy. I think Tony did it in the fifties, it was written by a woman, and the song was about a man and a woman moving into an apartment in New York. I had it on an huge compliation album that someone stole when I moved. I've Googled it to no avail. You may know it. It's really cute and uptempo.😊 If you can help, thanks!!

waiting for the duet Version with Mariah...the only bad thing about this song.. it's only 3:00 minutes.. short.. but it's amazing. I think it's is gonna be the best song of the album.. maybe that's the reasong why they will put it at the ending. I guess Lady gaga's duet is the first song in the album because that will get attention as she's so famous right now.
