I was a 12 year old kid, dealing with a family separation, escaped a rough housing situation, lost family, lost friends etc, but you Tony. Oh jeez. I dunno what it was, maybe the picture, maybe the name, I dunno, I just clicked. And I've been here since. In fact my KZread red had at least 1000 hours of your music played. Number one song.. Immanuel. No im not really saying I'm obsessed, maybe i am but it's more like I'm obsessed with the effects of the trance this song induces. Love, anxiety, hope, sorrow, it's all there. Inescapable. Even so in this song. The highs the lows the transcendent glory of this song remains unmatched. Unfathomable. No matter how low I think I am, this song will swaddle me like an infant child and the air around me, the sounds echoing through my world.. they love me.

I don't remember how i found this years ago, but i make sure that whenever i make a good bond with someone, i give the person, as an immaterial gift, the pleasure of listening to this for the first time, no matter if the bond will last, at least this good memory will remain. Until recent events in the world, this was my favorite song that I listened to on the plane. Flight, night, clouds, and you .. Now this music continues to be one of my favorites, I can imagine how I used to fly on airplanes and remember the landscapes of dawn in the clouds. Im always come back and listening to this one when feeling fallen. It's like Im reliving my first love, all it's ups and downs, all that i've lost. I miss her so much. And I miss the man I was. Surely, I love and proud of what I've became, but something was irredeemably lost along the way. It's like I can feel it again. This is beyound beautiful. True talent is to catch a life itself in mere sounds. And make them so organised, so well tied together. I know that at it's core it's a Christmas melody, but you made it so much more. When I heard it for the first time, about five years ago, I was awestruck and in tears. They just flow and I don't know why. Just for the beaty of sound I guess. That was a relief. And it's still is.

When I had some anxiety issues due to a bad injury and daily pain, I'd play this song, sit in a hot bath and just let it all go. It really does pull you to a place of relaxation and hope. Now I'm fully recovered, I play it and other of your songs in the morning, keeps the kids calm and awakens me to the day, especially in the crazy world we're all witnessing these days!
