Nice catches at Fullerton on this day. It is always nice seeing a few of those Amtrak Northern California painted Surfliner cars, that used to work on the Capitol Corridor and San Joaquins on the Pacific Surfliner in my opinion. Only around 3 to 4 of these cars I believe were shipped from Northern California to Southern California in late 2020. These are not the same as the California/8000 series cars, as these are the Surfliner/6000 series cars, with the main differences being the windows and less fluting on the sides when comparing the two, but some of the Surfliner cars and cab cars were painted into the NorCal scheme to work on the Capitol Corridor and San Joaquins. 7548’s P3 horn is very nice as well.
