By far, our favorite vlog...it is so nice to see natural Florida. We've been to Crystal River in winter, but did not see anywhere close to this many manatees. Thank you Jenna and Dale!

We drove out to this park on Labor Day weekend. Made a boat ride reservation so we were able to get into the park. Thanks again for this vlog… it’s the reason we went!! My kids loved it!

Icktucknee river is a nice place to visit. You may be able to see river otters. There are many places like this in Florida. It's like being in a whole different world. Just beautiful. Thanks for taking us along!

LOVE seeing the Manatees! There is a great place in Crystal River/Homosassa Springs, too that is also so beautiful to see the manatees! So glad you got to see them! They are amazing creatures.

Such a beautiful place and I’m so happy you got up early for US! 😉. I lived in the area about 30 years ago and always loved visiting. Back then they allowed you to go into the spring if the manatee were in ..they had a strict rule not to approach them, but if they came up to you they might gently make contact and that was fine. That was pretty common and quite an experience 🥰. Thank you for sharing and I hope some viewers who are able make a donation to Save the Manatee… a great cause!

Yes!! This is on our must-do list. Hoping we can get there over the next few weekends to see some manatees. Love it! And thanks for the tips about getting there early, I would not have known otherwise! ❤😊

"The wilderness must be explored" -Russell Loved the State Park. It is now on my bucket list. One of my favorite parts of Sea World is always to see the manatees. Heading to the Blue Spring State Park KZread page now.

I have to convince my hubby though because he doesn’t ever want to see a alligator. I showed him the wooden walkways you were on, but he just isn’t sure about going out in the wilderness of Florida. Absolutely love seeing your adventures around Florida!

Visited Blue Springs in 2007. It has remained one of my fondest memories from Florida. We were there in February and saw manatees, gush and alligators. I remember the house but not the shopping/eatery area, must be more recent. Thanks for sharing

Loved this trip! Thank you for sharing. We used to Glamp in several FL state parks and the spring parks were always amongst our favorites. And any parks with boardwalk trails too. I like nature, but I also have a healthy respect for it 🤣. Some of our favorites were Silver Springs, Ichetucknee Springs (pronounced Itch A Tuck Knee), Homosassa and Wakulla. Homosassa has a beautiful historical lodge there as well. Creature from the Black Lagoon filmed there too. Florida State Parks are some of the best in the country. Hope you get a chance to explore more. And you could do weekend trips as many have cabins to rent. Often affordable and you can go with friends and split the cost. It’s so fun! Take a crock pot, picnic food and wine. You’re all set! Not Spring related but you might look into Fargo State Park just over the FL state line if you want an awesome alligator experience. They have great cabins and you can rent a John boat on the cheap and drive out into the swamp and see tons of alligators. Sadly, after the major fire about a decade or 2 ago, the landscape is not as lush as it once was, but it’s coming back. It’s still an amazing experience. So many gators! If you ever want to know about Georgia Coast state parks, let me know. I know some good ones. 😉. With cabins! Not even kidding.

Loved the video! I like the bonus material at the end! My thoughts for a trip: De Leon Springs - there is a restaurant at the Springs that is a mill and you make pancakes at your own table on the griddle built into the table! There is tubing there. It's just a little further north of you.
