I’m always having problems with cutting wheel arches so this helps loads…the thing is, do those markings on the shell (that you draw over in blue) exist on all body shells? I race in an entry level class (Tamiya TT 01/02) and we’re not allowed to use ‘jelly mould’ shells like touring car shells. So we use more realistic looking car shells (I think this is to make it more interesting and open to new people and kids)….but I haven’t seen things like that on ‘car’ looking bodyshell so. As mentioned the problem for me becomes trying to cut out the arches without leaving big gaps. I also love how you don’t sand your body shells. Your cutting leaves perfectly clean lines 👍

Thank you for your very informative videos Patric, very well presented. When you use the pen to draw around the base of your shell to establish how high it will sit above the ground, what setting or height do you have the body post tabs set to? ( how many holes up from the base do you have the tabs pinned into). Thank you. Stuart.

When marking the ride height with a marker on the body... You TOTALLY forgot to talk about the accually height the body are mounted on the front and rear posts? How do I determine how high my body should sit on the bodyposts?
