    Buddy could war a Sweater a Suit or even a Bath Robe. Buddy could and would play the most devastating wonderful sensational drumming that ever happened. You most certainly have to consider that the man Buddy Rich was most certainly One of a Kind.

    ​@@tessagus2 He's ignorant because he saw Buddy as being amiable? Buddy & Johnny were great friends. I've heard Carson wasn't the greatest guy to his staff & wives either. So if I say Johnny was great guy, I'm ignorant too? Who cares? Some celebrities are ass-holes at certain times. If you played your part correctly in Buddy's band, no problem. If play like shit, Buddy wants to kick your ass. He did go overboard back then. He'd never be able to get away with threats today.

    He certanly wasn't in his best physical shape. Nevertheless, to me he is the only musician that I know of that never stopped improving and bettered with age. He never disappoints.

    I wasn’t able to see the strainer clear enough at any point to tell but his personal snares during his last Ludwig endorsement were Super-Sensitives (bronze or COB).
