I'm fascinated by her, and these interviews. She is so soft spoken yet firm, eloquent and humble - it is stunning to behold. God bless you Toni Morrison.
"My mind is what is interesting, my life is not". I love the fact she says that and the way she says it, too. So powerful for a person to say that, it's just impressive

I love it...
41:34 "...how hard it is and how necessary it is for us to become and to remain humans. That means a lot. It means not giving in to the comic book version of who we are, not giving in to all this medieval rhetoric. It means not doing that. We know deep down what's right. And what's true. And what's needed. We've got to get there. We just have to."
I adore Toni Morrison. I am so grateful that God shared her with us and I am thankful that you have shared this video with us.
I adore this lady. Her books are all brilliant. I always recommend her work to everyone. RIP beautiful human being.❤🌷

Same here. I miss this kind of talk show. Snyder, Cavett, Rose, and Smiley were masters of this style of interviews
This interview is so much better than the other one.
thank you so much, I love Toni Morrison
I love the relationship between Charlie and Toni. 💕

She is sooo patient w him....smooth as silk! But poor ol Charlie can’t hide the racist history, we share. Thank you Tony Morrison

The standard for white periodism was so low back then.. yikes at his ignorance and carelessness.. wow... she is QUEEN
Fine woman.
Think and be nice to the people you love 🧠

Make your mind interesting 🧠
Very rare woman
You regret the things that you did not do , more than the things you did 🧠
Can he stop interrupting her 😭
His obsession with Morrison’s credentials makes this scarcely bearable.
To my could have been husband Joe 📝🚼🎸
Uthando lungakuthambisa . Kunzima ke nokuthanda umntu olimeleyo emoyeni 🧠
Charlie Rose, WHEN, WHEN are you coming back to Interviewing people. You are so good at that?

@@tas64 i sometimes forget that these figures, so entertaining. So eloquent, yet flawed just as i am.
Progress 🧠
I hate how he’s always talking over her or finishing her sentences for her
His interviewing style is so narcissistic. He asked questions, then answered his questions. He said things, made up scenarios of her. You can see Toni looking and just letting him talk.
hes interrupting so muchhh ughh
