My absolute favorite by her. The Goddess, Toni Braxton. When she says "Dark Child" at the beginning she's referring to the producer Rodney Jenkins, whose pseudonym is "Dark Child". This is a song about guys on the DL. Also try her doing her two beautiful songs "Unbreak My Heart" and "Breathe Again".

People polluted by post modern feminism find it perfectly okay to 1) Take words with long standing and easily verifiable meanings, give them new meanings that have absolutely nothing to do with the original, root meaning, and then attempt to shame everyone for not recognizing this tried and true word and, 2) Create neologisms that make them feel better about themselves, show themselves to be a paragon of virtue signaling, and/or create the only hierarchy they love, understand, and accept: a hierarchy of victimhood. Phobia is a clinical term used to describe irrational fears: acrophobia, aerophobia, claustrophobia, all diagnosable, clinical conditions. So is narcissism, by the way. You and your college friends decided to make up a word with "phobia" in it, then you attempt to shame people for not going along with this made up word that makes no sense. This is a display of and a partial definition of solipsism, something you all should actually fear.

One of the things I still love so much about this video and song is the fact that instead of letting this woman be hurt by finding out on her own in her own time even after she acts a fool towards Toni’s character, Toni STILL has her back and shows her that she’s worth more than this ‘man’ has to offer. It was one of the first music videos I saw (as a kid) that spoke about cheating but instead of blaming the female, the singer makes it clear it’s the MANS fault for being a dog. Instead of tearing someone down for being blind to their feelings, they are shown they are worthy of so much more. It’s about empowerment.
