I'm currently using celeteque alcohol free toner along with celeteque facial wash with NMF and I wanna know if this will be effective or could be potentially harmful for my skin?

@@nicolec.462 I've used both and in my experience, inubos ko na lang muna then switched to Celeteque Acne Solutions Cleansing Gel + Celeteque Hydration Hydrolized Mist as toner instead . Mas bet ko since fragrance-free sila. :)

I am currently using “Thayers” witch hazel toner in rose petal variant. It’s alcohol and paraben free. Madaming vloggers nag hype dito so I tried it. It works for me. Pero agree ako sa’yo na hindi naman po necessary ang toner sa skin care routine. Kapag naubos ko yung “Thayers” baka di na ako bumili hehe.

Finally!!! A local youtuber na knowledgeable sa skin care products, nakakapagod na youtubers na puro thayers, st ives, and other harmful brands. Knowing na pinapanood sila ng mga teenagers, talagang sira ang market ng skin care dito sa Ph na puno na ng rejuv sets. Keep it up! 💕

The World Class Talent they have little granules(shards) of crushed apricots, they cause microdermabrasion to your skin making the skin barrier damaged and not functioning well. In the long run if you’ll still use it your face will suffer, fine lines here and there and especially saggy skin😞. So don’t use it please

I could never tolerate our type of toners or any kind alcohol-based toners. Dr. Drey has a good explanation of why old-school toners were a thing (because of old school heavy soaps). I just don't know why we still produce it. Same goes for Witch Hazel.

Most present day toners are basically essences branded as toners, because "toner" is a more staple and recognized part of a skincare regimen.

When i was in grade 6 i tried using eskinol, very big mistake pre! Tas nung nagbreakout ako grade 10 tinry ko ulit ang tanga =‹ sinira yung skin ko meeen

@@kaizer8785 denatured alcohol dries out our skin, fragrance can cause allergic contact dermatitis in the long run. He's the only Pinoy beauty vlogger who knew about surfactants. Surfuctants can be found in detergents siya yung nagpapa bula pra mo n ding nilbhan ng Ariel yung balat mo sa mukha with continuous use of foaming cleansers.

I really enjoy listening to your super duper informative vlogs..

I'm currently using Supple Preparation Unscented Toner from Klairs (binili ko lang because of the "hype" LOL). One of the key ingredients is Centella Asiatica which is a good remedy for inflammation. It works good naman pero true din naman that toners are just "optional" in a skincare routine.

When using treatment toners, use it at night lang and make sure to use Sunscreen during the day. Kasi mas photo sensitive ang skin pag gumagamit ng treatment toners.

Bigla ko naalala dati 'yung ESKINOL + Clindamycine. LOLs Thank you, pogi.

I agree with what you said about toners not being essential to your routine ☺️ I stopped using toners and switched to a Japanese skincare lotion (Kikomasamune sake). It is ethanol free and mas na-feel ko na ina-absorb ng maayos ng skin ko ang moisturiser ko. It works really well for me (or placebo effect lang hahaha) compared to when I was using a toner 😊

The witch hazel thing is real...I have tried it and it can sensitize your skin in the long run...

I used eskinol for 3 years on and off and yes it helped with my acne. Nawala yong acne ko but now my skin is dry so I think it’s the only product that’s responsible for it. I used to have oily skin.

you could moisturise after to address the dryness. but to say na "itapon nyo na yung eskinol/master" I totally disagree. My mom has been using it for decades na and i must say hindi naman drying (i kiss her a lot sa cheeks) ... hiyangan lang talaga but to absolutely disregard it.. no way..

don't throw away eskinol guys. I use eskinol (calamansi) BUT I do not use it on my face. I use it on my elbows and knees... really good for cleaning and whitening those areas.😊

Watching Skin Sensie has lift my standard to youtubers about skincare. Jan do not top it but he delivered it easiest way to understand 🤗 But I am a prone acne so to sooth that is achievement na. Lol

I don't use the usual bar soap like Safeguard or Dove on my face. Ang lakas kasi ng fragrance tapos yung pH level niya is 9 medyo malayo sa pH level ng face which is 4.2 to 5.75. I only use facial wash for sensitive skin, then rub it gently. Ganun lang. 😅 This video is very helpful, tho.🥰

Nice video Jan! I’m using Hada Labo hydrating lotion to boost moisture with Hyaluronic Acid. During weekends its good to exfoliate with Cosrx AHA BHA clarifying treatment toner which I agree with you is very gentle. You might want to talk a bit more about actives on your next vlog i.e. niacinamide, salicylic acid, etc.

Same! Never liked witch hazel overhyped! I used dickinsons back in college and that was the weirdest breakout I had. Did not subside for a month so di talaga sya for me. I use Dear Klairs supple preparation unscented toner for like 4months and it works awesome. I can also suggest yung 3step toner ng clinique na good for oily skin or Body Shop tea tree or seaweed toner perfect for people who has oily combination skin like me. I agree toner is not really necessary but I kinda got used to it haha.

I agree with the Master facial cleanser 😔 Tried it during puberty phase dahil nga sa mga TV ads pero nagworsen pa yung pimples ko. Ang sad. Swerte nung iba na hindi nag-breakout sa product na to.

Leaving my thoughts here: If we're going to use toner po kasi, we need a product that will counter out the dryness especially if it's an exfoliating one (l currently use the COSRX one once a week). So, hydrating serums and moisturizers (most notably with hylauronic acid) will help with the dryness.
