Would be interested to know how this is tied into a DAW. VIA USB or individual channel I/O?

I describe that in the video. My Alesis MultiMix8 is the audio interface with my DAW. Everything goes through it. The UI16 is going main out left & right to input channels 3 & 4 on the Alesis. The channels have their EQ set flat & panned left/right. The Alesis feeds the DAW via USB.

OK didn't quite catch that. I was thinking in terms of using this as a replacement for my Scarlett. I think it needs to be run L-R into the inputs on the Scarlett.

It is not a PC audio interface. To use it with a DAW you have to plug it into an interface like the Scarlett or my Alesis Multimix8.
