    "You chaps sounded fantastic! Thanks for fiddling my knobs!" - The amp from the video (yes, our amps talk and they say suggestive things)

    I wish my OR15 talked to me like that. All I get out of it is "I have headache." or "I've got to get up early in the morning." Pfft. Crazy lil amp.

    Wow that intro jam sounded incredible. You gents just performed the best demo I’ve ever seen and convinced me this is one of the best amps ever made. I’m buying one. Tone and playing was simply incredible 👏I’ve honestly never heard better tones than this.

    Bare Knuckle pickups are great! I have a set of Mules in my Gibson Lucille. Incredible Upgrade. The Rockerverb Mk3 is going to be known as one of the greatest amps of all time. It's in my top 5 wish list. I absolutely love that Orange high gain and it's so versatile. Wonderful cleans, lovely reverb, cleans up nicely with the volume knob and pedal friendly. Oh, and of course expertly demonstrated by two great guitar players. Thank you guys for really going into depth about what makes this amp so special.

    Exactly. Shake hands mate. I'm playing a RV 50 MK1 head > 2x12 cab. Pickups all BKP's. HSS strats: Crawler + Irish Tours, VHII+ Mothers' Milk. Mules in a Saint Blues Mississippi Bluesmaster. Blackguards 50 in a telecaster.

    Great amps! Sounds absolutely fantastic! I mean this is because these UK made amps using great components - especially output transformers, speakers and matherial of enclosure (real plywood instead of MFD) - making the difference. Then is no probiem with boxy, boomy and fizzy sound, amp is playing great with any type of guitar, and there is no big fiddling of knobs needed for achieving good sound.

    This amp sounds awesome. I used to have a 120 Crush and sold it. Is this made in the UK?

    Amps sound great, lovely playing as always. Just before the 9 minute mark, Richard starts using a perfectly timed delay...and that's a skill in itself. Any chance you can devote part of a video to how you think about setting up for those kinds of parts and actually preparing the pedal? Anyway, thanks.

    Is this a re-upload? I think I saw this vid before. Anyway, these amps sound glorious, yet I don't get people buying 2x12 combo's instead of a head with a 2x12 cab. Easier to transport and one can experiment with different cabs. I like the MKIII, but can't part from my trusted MKI 50 head. There's something magical about 6V6 tubes. Great review by the way. Keep up the good work. Cheers!

    I’m kind of new to power attenuation myself, from what I understand though, you’re actually changing how much power the amp is receiving, thus changing the volume, without sacrificing tone. Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong.

    I don't think there was any part of that which didn't impress me a lot. But the "reverb jam" was unbelievably sweet. Wish I had that by itself. Definitely love that amp, the ability switch from clean to really dirty with just a little volume control change is unsurpassed in any amp I've seen. But another heavy amp? I'm too old for that crap any more and too broke to hire a roadie.

    Is it possible to connect this combo to a 4x12 cab and get 6x12?

  • @nbnguitar

    @nbnguitar

    Sadly that’s not possible because hooking it up to a 4x12 cab automatically disables the combos’ native 2x12 speakers.

    Great Tones and review. I know you may say this could be a home use amp - but what would be the equivalent Orange amp in the range that has this quality of tone and flexibility for home or studio use? If that makes sense. I would like something like this but smaller? @orangeamps

    I don't know they didn't answer you because it would seem that the Rockerverb 30 would be the incredibly obvious answer to that! In fact, I'm thinking of it myself. It is slightly more compact, it's lighter and it's 30% less expensive.

    Rocker 32 or 15 would be more ideal. I have owned the Rocker 32 for 4 years never got one noise complaint on it and it sounds incredible in the studio. But the Attenuator on the Rockerverb is unmatched. This feature makes it usable in just about ANY musical scenario.
