Just started watching your cannel. You look so young to have all your knowledge about tone... All of your guitars and amps sound so good thru your videos. Keep them coming.

What are other amps you considered buying? Good video.

I’m always looking at valve train amps. These days the amp either Has to be cheap and well-made or it Has to be turret board at least. A lot of the printed circuit boards that are produced are pretty horrible. I’d rather spend more in the beginning and have something that lasts a lifetime and is serviceable rather than a bunch of moderately priced junk, but I also still gig, so whatever I buy needs to hold up. The best stamps for gigging though are getting an old 70s silver face twin, deluxe or super reverb. Take that amp to a tech and have them bring it up to current spec and you’re good for the rest of your life.

How does it compare to the Laney Lionheart?

I’ve never played a Lionheart, however, it’s one of the best clean sounds I’ve ever heard. It’s on par with many of my vintage Fender amps from the 60s and 70s. The overdrive sound is good for blues and light Classic Rock anything heavier you’ll need to use it overdrive, pedal or boost.

@@6stringlounge813the Lionheart is one of the cleanest you have ever heard or the Gremlin? These are the two I am looking at buying soon.
