Tond (Short Film Musical)
When Tond, an elderly retiree, wakes up from a minor stroke, he realizes that he doesn't really have any friends anymore. After several unsuccessful attempts to reconnect with his mean old wife, Janice, Tond turns to song for solace and consolation. This oddball musical comedy, set in the drab landscape of suburban North Texas, reluctantly reveals the deep isolation inherent in post-retirement blues.

this is genius! Take a realistic scenario, an old couple, and really zoom in on their lives; How they must feel, what they do and add some dark humor. My god, so much talent in this short film. Really brilliant guys! Not enough people doing what you're doing.
I cried when that man from the group thanked him for opening his heart to them. Lol. Great job.

This was a good wake up. I've had 168 MCIs myself and have a bad hand palsy. I also find myself a bit lonely as disease progressed and colleagues, family, and friends left me like "fleas off a bathed dog" (that's Tond talk). This was lovely and relatable. It's about connection no matter the age. Its about heart. Thank you!
