OH MY GOSH, I HAD THIS SET AS A KID!!!!!!!!! I got it back in Christmas of 2005, you have absolutely NO IDEA how super excited to get this set! I was a 5 year old girl, ripping on the Christmas warping paper, shouting: “Thomas! It’s Thomas!!!” I instantly started naming all of the characters on the huge box. Basically, this huge track took up my entire bedroom, hinting it was very huge. I still remember watching Thomas and Percy going around the track. Also, I was singing a little bit of “Really Useful Engine.” while seeing the trains ride pass. But the best part of getting this as a Christmas gift is that my parents brought it at Toys R Us! =‘)

I haven't played with trackmaster or wood in years and I really enjoyed this video. I love how it was simple without the overreacting screaming from most channels that showcase kids toys, and the cute part with the classic thomas music playing while the trains run. I hope you continue to make thomas videos.

This was honestly the highlight of my childhood, getting this for whenever I got cause it was such a long time ago but it really is nostalgic and brings back so many memories of me playing with them but yeah it’s amazing! So underrated aswell which is a shame :)

The music while the trains were running is what got me. I love these trains so much they were my childhood and To be Honest I still get down and play with them sometimes. There are so many stories and memories that these toys bring to many people. Thanks for Making this video about a Fantastic Set that is better than anything Mattel could make right now!

8:09 Preach Brother Preaches The sets from the tomy era were like actual modal train layouts, but now they are just theatrical and just aren't what train sets are supposed to be. The Tomy Plarail era will always reign supreme over what they make now.

I remember buying the 2006 set back in the day when I just 4 years old (2007) and boy was I a happy kid back then, thank you for posting this and helping me not to forget something that gave me a lot of joy while growing up. I still have the rails and the trains in a box, these were the only things I kept from my childhood, maybe one day I will rebuild them and just remember many buried memories from my childhood that I’m sure would help me go through these hard times I’m going through. If I ever do I will record it and let you know as for now this gave me enough strength and a little bit of joy

Thomas was goated back in the day. I have a bunch of Taken Play and Wooden Railway trains and try to recreate the episodes the best I can, thanks for the nostalgia

Facts , Mattel ruined a legacy of quality stories and toys

I remember as a kid ( I didn't have this set ) my mom bought me alot of Tomy and old Trackmaster stuff when I was younger and I remember trying to remake worlds strongest engine, worlds fastest engine, and I can remember me not playing with any of my rolling stock or even coupling them to my trains until I was 3 or 4, honestly my love for Tomy and Thomas hasn't grown out of me I still love Thomas because all the fond memories I had with my trains like Thomas Percy,Gordon,James,and Henry I loved Thomas Soo much that my mom would bring me to my dads mom and I would play with the Thomas trains there, but sadly my grandma would pass away from cancer 1 year ago, but I feel like my grandma wants to be a good person and I have become what I have become,a happy average kid.

Man I remember just playing with my Tomy Thomas stuff, new layout everyday, had the main trio as well as Diesel. I also remember being so ecstatic when my dad bought me some inclined track and risers since I only ever had flat tracks

You just made this set more awesome.

I collect TOMY and the thomas diecast stuff just as I do cars, it's great to expand since I grew up with both

I would prefer Tomy and classic Trackmaster over Trackmaster 2. The switch from classic Trackmaster to the new one was bad. 1.ur Trackmaster 2 engines will get stuck on the Tomy and classic Trackmaster track. 2. Ur Tomy and classic Trackmaster engines have troubles claiming on steep track and Trackmaster 2 hade a lot of steep track 3. There was to much gimmicks. Thomas turns 360, Thomas escapes a turnado, What about a proper tithmod sheds set. All we got is a neon tithmod but that's not even accurate. What about a set with a working cranky. 4. The new engines look worse than the old designs.

I’d have a lot of fun with this set too and spend hours with the different features of this set! Aw man, the good old times of good Thomas merchandise. That is until things started to go downhill later on.....

다들 tomy와 트랙마스터에 대한 추억들이 많네요. 저는 어릴때 할머니가 사주신 2002 tomy 토마스와 2002 한국판 헨리, 그리고 옛 2012 도널드와 더글라스 뿐 입니다. tomy 토마스는 저희 누나가 부셔버렸고, 2002 한국판 헨리는 제가 어릴때 제가 전기선을 끊어버려서 작동할수 없습니다. 또 제가 4살때 2013 토마스와 스펜서를 선물받은 기억이 있습니다. 그 이후론 토마스를 안 모으고 있다가 7살인가? 그때 관심이 생겨서 다시 모았는데, 그때 모은 에드워드를 분해하다가 전기선을 끊어버려서 에드워드도 작동이 않됩니다. 근대 그 사이에 고든과 제임스가 최신형으로 막 바뀌어서 좀 아쉬었던 기억이 있습니다. 그때 토비를 살려고 그랬는데 실수로 다른 장난감 토비를 사버려 최근에 다시샀습니다. 아 물론 도널드와 더글라스는 2013년 이후에 산것 입니다.

I've had memories of the Tomy sets and Tomy Trains back when i lived in England as a child. We never get nostalgic stuff like these sets anymore apart from how Hit's range was swapped to Mattel as well as ownership. Good thing we have Plarail around.

No idea if this will be useful but with cranky making screeching sounds you may of put it back in on a different gear ( as in the head was south but now it's facing north after being put back on) idk just something while randomly watching this

I found this set on EBay which was brand new in box unopened and import from Australia, all I can say is it was more expensive than a Tomy Oliver.

I feel ya there bro, I sold a lot of my Thomas stuff too. Mainly Thomas minis , take n play, trackmaster 2 , 1992 wooden trains and a few others I regret

my goal is to get the og wooden railway sets and recreate the same feeling the old tomy sets had

The station where Harold is located is called Dryar

All I can say about the broken cranky is to try to add some sort of grease inside of cranky so it won’t make that awful screeching sound.

8:35 they actually recently stopped making sets like that now they are making more realistic stuff they made a set with a working drawbridge, another set that has 8 engines, bulstrode, and Cranky. It's called "All Around Sodor Deluxe Set" . Its actually really good. You should check out some of the new 2021 Thomas Motorized merchandise and you can see they are beginning to improve. But IMO TOMY is far better.

I remember my dad fix one of my motorized thomas i think he say the problem with the motor being needed to be rotated and clean some of the parts and if some part is missing im not expert so idk just hope this can help turn back some of your trackmaster and plarail thomas
