I have been following Paul Van Dyk since 2000, my first track was "tell me why, feat st etienne", he will always be my number one but for old times sake, this is great, banging and uplifting, but its not trance, in the last ten years he kind of sold out to the EDM craze but thankfully he is slowly getting back to his old ways...

man did i have a euphoric flashback!! This set took me way back! I miss the scene when the music felt real like this. Not saying todays music is not real but it doesnt seem to have the same effect as it did many years ago. This is the style the puts a smile on everyones face, makes everyone happy and want to dance.PvD is a genius!!!!

ive recently only started going through paul van dyks older mixes ,, ive only listened to his commercial releases whats hit the charts and by god his mixes from 93 to 99 are absolute masterpieces,, the guys mixing and cuttin is absolute spot on ,, keeps you drawn in ,, this guy is a true pioneer of trance way before tiesto and buuren and i urge everyone to check his older stuff out ,, definitely the king of trance

I want this man's life...adored by millions around the world, travelling to every part of the globe, and every place he goes he gets paid to throw a bash and play all his favorite tunes. Bloody hell, he does have it made. Probably has a gorgeous wife too! I'm sure there was effort and perseverance needed along the way...for starters, being able to mix and seamlessly merge one tune's beat with the next tune's takes months or even years to master...friends of mine dabbled a bit with it when we were students
