No!: "regular dj's" are just what a dj "regularly" used to be: they are the disk jokeys, so they are mixing the tracks that they have chosen to play into eachother, and they try to ajust their choose of tracks at the mood of the people and so on, nothing more or less. they dont need to have production skills to be good dj's (although some of them have of corse!) and they dont need big attention. What you mean, are EDM dj's!

in fact the only artist who played live om main stage, not like those others with their pre recorded set. They just press play, and start waving their hands. PK doesn't have the time to wave his hands, he's working his ass off... Respect.

+7tikibart Actually much of this (but not all) is just acting or overacting. And I can guarantee, that at least the arangement is mostly prerecorded. As someone who is making electronic music since 2004 and since 2005 is using the same software as Kalkbrenner is using now, I think at least I'm able to see what's going on on the stage. I don't have to be on the same level like him as a producer, I just have to understand how this stuff works. And that's the problem. Kalkbrenner, but also many others, know, that most people don't understand what he is doing. Most liveacts I saw which really tried to play an honest liveact where pretty unknown.

with almost every tunes from Paul, it's like that when you listen to one of his tunes thats your favorite right when you listen, then switch to another one the one you switched to becomes the on, switch back to the other it becomes the one again, Other words his works is the best he is the best Techno Musican, he is the best Musican best ever Musican in the world, yeah I know there are many many oth there and have been, but Paul Kalkbrenner are my biggest favorite.

Cloud Rider makes me want to cry of joy but of pain at the same time, it makes me so happy and so sad too... when I listen it, I want to discover lot of things all around the world, make more & more things but it lost me at the same time. Thank you Paul K 💛

Thats not even possible, there were several tracks from his latest album, which was released after 2013

I was 10 feet away from the stage when he came on and the bass from his first track was like a surge of energy that he gave to every single person there. Absolutely amazing!

It's simple, when it was 85% Belgian it was awesome. Now only 50% of the crowd is Belgian and the vibe is gone. Also, Tomorrowland is actually not that expensive, no rich parents needed.

Andere Künstler können eine Show machen und sich selbst feiern weil sie lang nicht soviel machen wie er. Wem das nicht gefällt geht bitte zu Dimitri Vegas oder Konsorten ...

d5 was good man.. one of the best sets.. i think d5 and kalkbrenner stood out musically speaking. Kalkbrenner it is definitely the best, being in the main stage where everyone expects just beatdrops hard bass and fireworks, he was there just doing his thing, a real artist. I respect him so much.

Kuuh Reem echt so. Kopfhörer brazcht man zum richtigen mixen. Ich mag kalbrenners musik, aber sein set ist nicht wirklich gut gemixt. Er ist halt eher der Produzent, obwohl er das mixen hoffentlich bis jetzt gelernt hat :D

@@NoahsHobyless Stimmt schon, er mixt nicht und somit gibt es auch keine Übergänge. Jedoch sind die Sets ja trotzdem vorbereitet. letztendlich öffnet er das Live Projekt und spielt nacheinander die Instrumente ein. würde er immer live produzieren, kämen ja immer neue Tracks bei raus.
