And the bottom half is just being cut over and over again (if he really good perfectly cut so the cards don't really change place) lol I doubt he is cheating but it is a good way to try and get away with cheating. My initial reaction to this is that I can't believe this is considered legal shuffling. This is exactly how a card mechanic would shuffle a deck to appear to be shuffling thoroughly while actually controlling cards. I also thought that piling cards at high level events was not allowed because it creates opportunities to stack your deck.

+HollowGaming This shuffling is fine, and I'm not aware of Saito having a reputation as a mechanic, but... Saito is kind of a sad case. He IS a pro, he's extremely skilled and by his results alone as well as other contributions, would have a spot in the Hall of Fame... except. He is a notorious cheater, and has been suspended and disqualified repeatedly. The offences he was punished for were stalling, bribery and a bizarre manipulative attempt to get an opponent disqualified in a hopeless game. He has a very shady reputation. He makes the HoF voting conversations awkward too "Anyone who has more than X stats has to get a vote... except Saito".

raisins7777 that "bribing" scenario was Bs. He asked the other finalist if he wanted to split the prize, and a mistranslation or miscommunication made judges think he was bribing his opponent to drop the match. The stalling and the random shuffle, offer cut to opponent, and call judge for opponent cutting; those were blatant cheating
