To encourage this to change TV gardeners Tommy Walsh and Alan Titchmarsh have teamed up with the NHS for a new campaign.

Tommy is a lovely bloke. He's had his own problems and i wish him well.
I loved the diy shows he was in so I pray everything goes well for him and his family.
Just a thought but how many MPS have shares in the companies producing these tests that are likely to miss so many people with cancer because they happen to do the test when their cancer isn't bleeding.
Yes but if you read the letter that comes with the test it tells you that it doesn’t mean you haven’t got cancer just because the test is negative. Because cancer doesn’t bleed all the time so you could be doing the test at the wrong time

@@melgrant7404 exactly, my cancer was only spotted when I attended hospital and had an actual examination during the last bowel screening scheme . This tv campaign is wrong and will probably lead to many cancer victims being missed.

God Bless Tommy Walsh! I'm praying for him and really hope he beats this thing. Tommy and his Dad gave me my first job when I was 16. The whole family took me under their wing and I hold them all dearly. Was the nearest I ever felt to having a family because I was brought up in institutions since 3.
