The bit about the music starting slow and building up..the story telling behind it..was almost poetic, spiritual.. absolutely masterful!!!.. One of the most amazing stand up performances I have ever seen. Pure brilliance!.

Genius indeed, although he had to pause awhile, and and intimate, to get the laugh. Too clever, too quick. And that's a compliment. I haven't a critical word to say about the lad. He takes all as he finds them, including his own, and that's as it should be.

This, handsdown, is fuuuuuuuuuuuucking hilarious AND amazingly ABSURDLY GOOD. As a playwright I can only salute this mixture of anecdotal wackyness and amazement, observing, dynamic, question raising and answer burning and giving, confusing piece of theatre and comedy ❤

The music bit with the pub going to 11 is unbelievably good. Took me with him😀😀

I saw this for the first time when I was 13 at a sleepover. It is the last time I was crossed legged trying not to wet myself from laughter. Still has the same effect 14 years later!

Jesus I hadn't watched this set in years. The piece where he's talking about Earth and how insignificant we are is actually quite thought provoking! Cracking set

This guy is an absolute masterclass, in context hes the Dj legend Carl Cox of the comedy world. starting of nice n chilled building it and taking the crowd on a journey, finally we are all as one in the crescendo of the final drop...

One of if not the Greatest Irish comedian of all time and that is saying alot Tommy is an Irish legend

God Almighty, he was brilliant there! Radiohead and all! Brilliant, like all Irishmen! God, I'm glad I'm Irish! Oh, wait, I'm not Irish, then? Oh bloody hell!

I'm always astounded by just how many great comedians there are out there. It gives me hope for the Human Race that there are people that can see the world like Tommy and his surrealist comedian compatriots!!!

He’s a legend. Some find some of his stuff controversial but I think he’s just a very clever, insightful, energetic (especially in the earlier days) soul, occasionally misunderstood. My fave Irish comedian.

This was the 1st thing I ever saw on KZread, broken into 10 - 15 minute clips and absolutely fell in love with him. Thank you posting it in full.

Twenty years later and I can say he's right. I work in care and nearly every child claims to be a traveller!

I still think this is his best set. He gets wilder as he grows older, but this had really well worked out bits and stories in it.
