I love how he doesn't even inspect his bike he still tries to race.

I have never seen a tire fall off i n a race here in the US
Motocross tires are always "flat" or completly without air with a mousse (like the video). The tire is clamped to the rim, not hold by the pressure
that wasnt the tire, it was the foam "moose" they use in place of a standard tube. It tore in half.

that tire IS designed for mudd... it has straight lined tread for a mudd paddle .... and it popped of because they runn really low psi in their tires in mudd for traction ....FYI

Am I the only one that realizes the tire was flat from the very beginning of the video!?!?
wow that is a huge safety issue, i've never seen that before...on a muddy day like that the tire must not have been as hot as it could be, but still the mousse/tire failed...maybe the rim lock loosen with the water and mud? typically thay have two bead lock alos right?

i don't think they put 2 rim locks in anymore other than for enduro applications. my 02 wr 250f has 2 but my buddies 2013 ktm 250sx has only one

I don't know much about mx/sx but i know on some of the top guys bikes in hard enduro they do put two. though they put pressure on the moose. i know some have teeth and that is what i was talking 'bout

i was just thinking that if the moose spits out of the wheel during prep. for a jump could be catastrophic...yeah i run moose in the desert but different ball game..i've never seen a tire and moose just fall apart like that...something fishy with the bead lox

It's actually exactly what you don't need to do if you want to keep your mousse... From personal experience...

Low psi?? hey commoon it's a mousse!!! And the reason why they had the problems in Kegums was the fault of pirelli, they had too small mousses so they cut them half and add a little peace for the extra inch. So 18"+1"=19"

It's a mousse tube. No air, no flats is the idea. Obviously didn't work in this case.

Looks weird...
Motorcycle tires fail less often than auto but that is no excuse for continuing to use the less efficient pneumatic tire when a new tech. comes along. Immediate 'razor sharp" handling at the highest speeds, anti bounce to stick landings. We know that you will appreciate the fuel efficiency, improved acceleration and novel traction systems that are coming.
