Tommy and Daddy had an exciting day today which was unfortunately cut short after someone was hit by a train causing delays. Our thoughts go out to the person's family and to the driver of the train 💔
We still had an amazing day starting off at Alnmouth Railway Station, our first visit to that station and it certainly won't be our last. It was amazing!! The facilities were great and the station staff member was so friendly and helpful. ‪@NorthernRailwayOfficial‬ , Goir really enhanced our experience during our visit to Alnmouth.
We saw lots of trains at Alnmouth including a crossover and then after lunch, 70809 passed through which was brilliant.
Even after two hours, we weren't satisfied and so we headed further north to Chathill, another station we were visiting for the first time. It's a beautiful station and we saw 4 trains flying past before our day was cut short. We'll definitely return.
