As a tragic league qlder...i was privileged to meet with at a function in brisbane not long before his passing...we spent the night drinking and stories with his gorgeous wife...what an amazing man...spent the night in awe of the bloke...

Tommy's roost was at the Titans ground. I used to be an area manager and my first spot was servicing him and his guests food and beer. I always found him as a nice old bloke.

tommy can b forgiven when he lists the great st george players he debuted against at wests ie..Ian walsh and Gaz.etc.... had long retired .....he was the heart and soul of the magpies

That’s what you call men of league!! They were all respectful and hard working and pretty tough.. Not like the pretty boys we got now!! Drugs, alcohol, bashing up women and drug dealings!
