The demolition man mission holds a special place in my heart. Long story short: my sister had a hard time with the mission and asked me to beat it for her. Needless to say: we not only beat the mission, but the entire game together. One of the few times my sister and I got along as kids.

"Treacherous Swine" is a reference to the scene in Scarface where Angel is killed by Hector, and Tony kills Hector afterwards. Except Tommy has the chainsaw, and the revenge is delayed by some missions compared to almost immediately.

Yup not even the Rhino tank can destroy it I know this cause the Rhino tank in the old gtas would blow up any car that even touches it. We need this thing in GTA online to counter MK2 griefers, the orbital cannon, and Godmode speedos since the glass is completely bulletproof as well

@@thehopper3782 Actually you can get that Admiral in all versions of the game, the easiest way is to simply fail the mission after the Haitians took the money on the bike, there you stand in front of the car until the mission fails and then that's it...

@@gaia.v2 actually after you pass the mission if you run out of the alley and look to the left (the direction Diaz drives off in) the admiral will be there since the game despawns every story npc when a mission completes

13:40, Demestobot exists in Vice City stories so it's highly possible that the Goblin RC chopper has a camara on it for Tommy to see through.

Once in a while i get distracted and get caught up in my own mind and overthink stuff. But most of the time, when i get this distracted, i see a new playthrough from you and it makes me curious to watch and see if i left something out in the lore, as someone who grew up with GTA like most of us. Tommy is one of the Smartest GTA Protagonist

Fun facts. You can fail the mission if Gonzalez manages to run to the Police Station. He straight snitches on you and you fail the mission. You literally have to fail the mission on purpose for this to happen. This could also be why Tommy gets a wanted level for killing Gonzalez as he is possibly turning states/in witness protection perhaps. All of Avery's missions aside from Demolition Man (the mission is NOT that hard) has Tommy changing an outfit to blend in. Those grenades at the Police Station were Smoke Grenades in the PS2 version of the game (I could be wrong on that.) also you could've just tossed the grenades and blew the truck up to speed run the mission. Loving the content. Thank you Mr. Professional.

Ohh yeah. Diaz's Admiral in this mission can be acquired as an everything proof vehicle by simply failing the mission at any time after the cutscene where Lance tells you to go to the rooftop.

Diaz's Admiral is really awesome, not only its bulletproof, but also fireproof as well. Make sure you buy at least a safehouse with a garage prior before "Guardian Angels". Firefighter, Paramedic, Vigilante, and the Pizza Boy missions would earn you extra money

I love how when Tommy beats the crap out of the guards with the golf club, he swimgs the gold as if he was trying to hit the ball

I left this mission out until I had access to the sniper rifle. Then I would park a van near the wall and jump over so I can bypass the security and not surrender the weapons - then just take the guy out from distance. Nobody chases you too.

I like how even in the game they decided to make it seem like time changed by removing or adding buildings in the city

“Demolition man” isn’t that difficult. I guess my excuse is that I too played it over 10 times, in different platforms as well but mostly PC. And Gonzales…… ah what a prick, pardon my French. The thing is, Gonzales isn’t as despicable as other antagonists, such as Martinez, Marty, Tenpenny, etc yet he’s still so infuriating because if you played VCS, you’d hate him and know of his past, of what Vic did for him. You were totally right, if someone played Vice City Stories, this is personal. For Tommy, taking revenge was a part of his scheme to take over the underworld for the Forellis initially, but the player wouldn’t care about that at the time and just want to avenge Vic, like Lance.

Literally me yesterday: Wait a minute the guy you take the phone from is a hitman, he gets calls with people asking for him and you get missions that have you be a hitman which is who the guy was. Oooohhhhhh I’m a big brain!!!

I never really understood the hate for “Demolition Man.” As long as you pay attention to the map indicators/ what you’re doing; it’s really not that hard. Even if it takes a try or two to nail those RC controls. It’s a relatively simple mission.

The only mission I do not like in this game is the remote-controlled airplane mission.

Personally I find “demolition” an easy mission as well. And just like you I played it so many times as a kid. I’m familiar with the controls on the PS2 console. But I don’t think I’ll ever play this on mobile, I think mobile made the mission a lot more harder than it actually is.

I find VC Mobile a lot easier than the PC version. For example, the Shakedown mission in mobile is very easy since you only need to break some glass panels instead of all of them.

On PS2 the helicopter controls is more straightforward. For me, I played first on PC, many yrs ago. On a laptop with no numpad, no less. Naturally it was difficult at first.

I honestly never had any trouble with Demolition Man. On my first playthrough of Vice City, I remember expecting it to be the hardest mission in the game because that is what it’s widely considered as but I played it and found nothing hard whatsoever. After the mission passed theme played I was like “Really? THIS is the hardest mission people have been talking about over the years?!” I personally found the missions Death Row, Cop Land, Publicity Tour, The Driver, and Keep Your Friends Close much harder than Demolition Man.

I'm guessing "The Driver" where you race Hillary is the worst mission.

Fun fact about the guns: in the original release the guns used real world designations. The Mac was the Ingram Mac-10, the revolver was the Python, the Kruger was the Ruger, and a few others that I can't think of off the top of my head. My guess is that Colt, Ruger, and other firearm companies did not approve of their weapons being in the game initially.

@@rogueraccoon1840 Lionel Richie's "Running With the Night" was also removed after the first edition of the game (I like Lionel Richie & his songs, but I don't feel that particular song fit all that well in this game, as I think it's too laid-back for this).

Demolition Man isn't that bad once you learn the controls. The issue is the controls have such a steep learning curve that it seems far worse than it is.

The nostalgia trip I've had in this channel is great can't believe I was allowed to play this when I was 4, hell my Father introduced me to this game.

Once you get the hang of the controls of the helicopter, demolition man becomes a pretty easy mission

I'm genuinely impressed by this guys knowledge on GTA games. Keep it up man, love your content

I loved "Treacherous Swine" also as a kid, I like that they had Tommy have specific dialouge for him while chasing him down, I remember letting him run and run all the way past the Malibu because he looked so goofy and pathetic trying to get away. Looking back I think the colonel might have had the best missions especially the one when your killing the french npcs on his yacht. That mall mission set up with the french was cool as f too.

I was not shocked when he said "in gonna do Demolition man on my first attempt" that's why he's a professional.

Oh and Cortez…. I kind of doubt he was a dictator, he doesn’t seem to be like a kind of guy to be like that. He does appear to be someone who will do a bit for self preservation, such as aiding the Liberty City Mafia. Also I think he is from Panama, where he probably met the Vance brothers, who also operated there.

Vice City had Kool and the Gang's Summer Madness. Aw yeah! A shame copyright came for that moment.

As a kid, the mission that really forced me to retry it multiple times was "Bomb's Away!" It was the mission from the Haitians in which you need to bomb Cubans with an RC vehicle. It's gotten easier as I've grown but I still don't like doing it lol

i actually did demolition man in mobile suprisingly in my first time playing vice city in the mobile. i did it for the first time i think the only worst part for me was definetly the controls but im glad i was able to finish it. it was definetly challenging and isnt easy to beat because its mobile.

@@M0rinkashiI remembered that when I was dumb kid playing gta sa for the first time, I was about to start the mission Green Sabre, I spent like $17,000 in buying weapons (I got that much money from killing Drug dealers around Los Santos, each one of them has $2000) and after the mission I realised, all of my weapons were gone. I got really annoyed and thought of using weapon cheat, I didn't. I wanted completed GTA SA story atleast one time without cheats, I still had $3000 left.

@@chuck600 It's a good thing that I didn't buy much (or at all) weapons from Ammu-Nation in my unfinished SA PC (visually modified besides few mods that adds or improves some features like controller support, I used a DS4 (PS4) controller when I last played the game, feels like how you would play it on a PS2) playthrough. xd Always good to save on cash, especially for the big finale and there are also some weapon pickups.

Yeah, the RC heli mission is much, much easier than people make it out to be. "I hate this mission! What's wrong with this helicopter?" *the fucking pilot, that's what's wrong*

Fun Facts: The place that Avery Carrington order Tommy to go to in his missions *"Riot"* actually placed the same place on one of the Shark's Business Empire in GTA Vice City Stories (which is 2 years before the GTA Vice City) Evidence: *"Watch at the beginning of the Sixteenth episode of Patrick's GTA Vice City Stories walkthrough if someone wants a prove"*

I haven't played the old GTA games in such a long time, at least 12 years I'd say, and I think that's why I had trouble with Demolition Man. It took me one turn to figure out where the hell I was going/maneuvering through the building/dealing with the workers, and then it took me another go to figure out the fastest ways to get through, but it was kind of like riding a bike, I didn't get stuck at this mission like I did when I first played it in 2003.

Oh, the Demolition Man mission, I really hated that mission as a kid. Mostly because I was not used to weird controls back then and just felt tideous.

I’m not lying when I first played demolition. Man I got on my first try my very first time, and I was anxious because people kept saying no to her mission.

Demolition man in comparacent to The driver is a piece of cake. Just gotta learn the controls of the RC Heli.

I gotten used to the demolition man mission as well it’s gotten easy for me too because I like to restart the story sometimes. & I never knew about the admiral being there after the mission.
