John Farnham is an artist who isn't well known outside Australia. He really ought to be because he's extremely talented. It's always nice when an artist covers one of those artists and helps people to appreciate the music. When they do it as well as Tommy it's more than nice, it's fantastic. Great reaction!

Oh man John Farnham is so special and such a big deal to Australia I wasn't sure I was going to like this but he did an amazing job.

Being Australian I know John Farnham recorded this back in the 80’s and I think it has been recorded by other artists as well. Who???? Tommy does a great job. John has a pretty good voice as well, though. ❤️🤘🎸🎻🇦🇺

It's also been recorded by a few artists most notably, by Heart in the 90's. Tom Jones a duet with John, Olivia Newton John another duet with John, And more recently Celine Dion who was a huge fan of Farnham

Not a match for the original vocalist. But that I understand is his metal ie head banger influence.

Sometimes I feel that it is a total waste to Tommy NOT to be the leadsinger in any really famous band......On the other hand..... Sabaton is my favourite band of all times and I wouldnt change Jocke Brodén for anything!!!! I just think Sabaton are soooo blessed with 2 really 5 star singers....but in different ranges

It blows mymind that anyone likes this karaoke.

Ok we get it, you don't like him. You don't have to, we can't all like same things and same singers, world would be a very boring place if we did. I get you love John Farnham, he is a great singer, but going to every reaction to Tommy's cover just to make a point that you don't like Tommy's cover is a waste of time and energy from my point of view. Tommy did this cover because he admires and appreciates the original. This will always be John's song, Tommy will most certainly not steal it from him and it will never be as popular as the original. Tommy doesn't need it, he has his own songs and his own bands. This is just something he enjoys doing and we enjoy listening and I really don't understand why it bothers you so much. Try enjoying things you love and stop wasting your energy on things you don't. you might find it satisfying
