Well, I had the same reaction, "don't remember it starting like that".... but I checked it... and it did :) She sings two verses before the chorus and then it takes off.

Much better than the original, if you ask me! He is incredible! It's going to be a really nice 2023, for sure! The thing is, when you hear the original songs on radio now, you long for the Tommy version... 😁 Thanks for a nice reaction.

I am a huge Jim Steinman fan, so the fact he has done 2 songs written by Steinman to me is great (both by Bonnie Tyler)... I do wonder if he's going to dig into some Meat Loaf.

I'm undoubtedly in the minority on this. This is very good, but I think the speeding up the tempo so much actually decreases the intensity of the song for me. It's a counter-intuitive reaction, probably, for most people, but there it is. Thanks for posting!

This version has nothing that made the original great. It is void of all emotion and depth. One should never attempt to cover a song one is unable to sing or even comprehend. Sorry, but this is terrible. It's like listening to a toddler trying to be deep and insightful. Horriffic.
