"If Floor was ever sick, he could cover for her." Fun fact - he and Chris actually had to cover for Joakim at Hellfest 2019. Sabaton were put on the line up just the day they were then due to play, because Manowar cancelled their headliner spot on a f*cking short notice. Sabaton however had performed Knotfest meets Hellfest just the day before, and Joakim's voice broke down after just two or three songs. But they wouldn't be Sabaton if they didn't find a solution. Tommy and Chris stepped in as the main vocalists for the whole rest of the show, and both of them did a great job!

He is massively UNDER-RATED he should be one of the top singers on the planet! That cover was even better than the original! How he isn't more universal is such a sad loss he needs more recognition!

The songs Floor did during Corona were also done with Tommy making the arrangement and do not forget, they are from Sweden. Floor sang the opera part in Sabaton's Chhristmas truce. So they are very familiar with each other.

Fun fact. Tommy Johansson was the Swedish Karaoke Champion in 2009. He's an absolutely incredible musician! 🤩 Hope to see more reactions to Tommy and would love to see more reactions to Chris Kläfford as well!

"You Raise Me Up" is a song originally composed by the Norwegian-Irish duo Secret Garden. The music was written by Secret Garden's Rolf Løvland, and the lyrics by Brendan Graham. After the song was performed early in 2002 by the Secret Garden and their invited lead singer, Brian Kennedy, the song only became a minor UK hit. The song has been recorded by more than a hundred other artists including American songwriter Josh Groban in 2003 and Irish boy band Westlife in 2005 whose versions were hits in their countries. Welsh singer Aled Jones and all-female Irish ensemble Celtic Woman have also recorded successful covers.

Not bad for a guitarist/backup singer in Sabaton. Oh and as it goes for Floor Jansen. Tommy is the guy that does the music for her songs aswell. Got to love that guy.

I just discovered his music and holy smokes am I impressed and in awe of that voice, guitar, and piano. I've been listening to his solo music and as Majestica. Yeah Tom I did the same, about slid out of my chair at that one high note.

When people ask me what music do i listen to , I say to them melodic heavy metal . They always saying something about devils music and so on , i say to them come and listen 1 time a few songs metal music , they do not want it , they are judging wrong. When you hear Tommy and Majestica , the songs the lyrics the power the joy they have , it is just amazing , i went to metal concerts and i must say , amazing people there . That is why i am listening this genre since 1985 , started with Helloween of course . I liked the way you are looking and are not believing what you just saw , the same did i when i heard this cover . cheers.

Tommy are so talented. You should check out his band Majestica’s Glory of christmas, the art video where Tommy did all the drawings for the video. And yes, his drawings are amazing too… And his Gary More cover of Thunder rising got some high vocals and awsome guitarsolo 🇸🇪😀👍

The original version of You raise me up are written and performed by Rolf Lovland of Secret Garden in 2001. Then Groban made it a international hit in -03 .

My dad sang this song at his mother's funeral in 2008. He was diagnosed with brain cancer earlier that year and died in May of 2009. This song is pretty emotional for me.

@@TomTuffnuts btw the original by rolf løvland has a 2nd verse and didnt modulate that josh groban did. fun fact: this song was supposed to get secret garden out of the eurivision buble they were still in, ( they won eurivision contest in 1995) but the person Rolf had in mind to sing was Jonny Logan. As anyone with some knoledge of eurovision song contest will tell u mr Jonny Logan is Mr eurovision :P i dont remember who sang it first but the record company talked him away from using Jonny :)

4:40 that's a whistle note...... extremely rare in a singer usually destroys the voice but Tommy did it spectaculary 😲 However in a concert vid Joakim said that Tommy couldn't "Fu****g whistle his way out of a paper bag"
