After seven glorious years together I decided to step down as the guitarist of Sabaton.
Main reason being that I need to follow my heart and put my main focus on my own career both as a solo artist and with my band Majestica that I was a part of from the beginning in 2002.
The guys in Sabaton are my brother, my friends, my family and the crew is the best people in the world that I’ve had the honor of working and living with.
Nothing bad has come out of this and I have enjoyed every minute of being a part of Sabaton.
I’m gonna miss waking up in the morning on the tour bus to a coffee prepared by Hannes before we work out together, gonna miss all the Walmart strolls and the late movie nights with Chris, I’m gonna miss having a beer with Pär and playing video games with him, and I’m gonna miss playing piano and singing harmonies with Joakim! ❤️
But this is not the end - it’s the beginning of a new chapter and I couldn’t be happier to know that Thobbe is back in the band playing the ”Bismarck” solo every night! ❤️💪

I have been following Tommy for a while now and the more I learn of him, the more awed I am. Not only is he an amazing vocalist and guitarist, but he is also a multi-instrumentalist, AND… his music arrangement and production ability is phenomenal! He also seems to be a really great guy on a personal level…funny, respectful, humble, and proud of his country and origins, a rare thing in this day and age! One of my favourite artists ever and Tommy needs to be known worldwide! ❤ Not to mention that as an Aussie who hates most AC/DC covers….I have to say that Tommy’s version of Highway To Hell was absolutely beyond amazing!!!! Tommy always has respect for the original artists and just adds to the brilliance of every song he covers in his own indomitable style! ❤

Yeah I am stoked for Tommy to grow and get his band on the move on a regular basis. I'm here it for it all!
They played before a hockey game in the Swedish hockey league (Leksand had a home game and had Sabaton to play). I think it was Tommys last performance with the band just after the announcement that he would leave. It is a bit funny because all of them had a spotlight on them but not Tommy. kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4CVmbWfgsawopc.html Tommy awesome as always. It's not Tommys team, Tommys team is Luleå so I guess he rather not play in that arena at all 🙂
