As great as Chet Atkins was - and make no mistake, Tommy Emmanuel and a whole slew of others guitarists don't exist without him - there's never been anyone as good as Tommy on an acoustic guitar.

As much as I enjoy his guitar, Tommy seems enamored of speed and lacks the feel of phrasing.
