I made an editing mistake in this level. It was cut short before the end. The final few minutes in the last secret and off to the ship down below. Sorry about this. I might re-do this level soon

After probably a thousand failed attempts to beat the forth security guard to the handprint scanner by killing him or by just trying to make it through the door for an only Laura’s guns run while still collecting every pickup item, I had almost completely lost my mind and given up when I took a few quiet moments to contemplate my next move regarding how I should continue. In those few moments I realized that the guard looks left and then looks right, and when he looks to his right if you sprint around the block and roll you can just barely make it into the room before he reaches the handprint scanner. I am inside the room now and I can’t wait to kill this bastard when I press the button to get out and I think I may do it with every weapon before I continue my save file just for pure satisfaction and fun. I had almost quit the game entirely, so for those of you out there with similar problems just continue to find different options because I now fully believe “where there’s a will there’s a way.” - good luck fellow travelers. Edit: thanks for the like and it will give me a chance to say that I may have made a mistake and I think it is actually the third handprint scanner guard. The one with the three pickups including, I think, the harpoon/spear gun. Re edit: my comment doesn’t deserve to be pinned because by finding the solution to one problem only caused another. If the third guard reaches the handprint scanner at all it alerts the fourth guard and he cuts off access to the first secret and the first crystal of the area. I have tried to remedy this situation all day but to no avail. I would like to know how anyone was able to do an only guns run while collecting every item and secret in one play through for this area because to me it doesn’t seem possible. Sorry for the novel but thank you to anyone who is reading this.

Seeing the UFO in remastered version makes it look even more than the one from movie Flight of the Navigator!

I do wish the game told you of the things you could do with the controls. Since the patch I do modern controls, but I always thought they didn’t work when crawling still. Thanks for teaching me otherwise. Same as rolling while sprinting. Thank you :)

I miss them in crawl space. There is no reward/trophy/achievement for finding all items so don't worry about it
