Yeah, i was able to shoot really fast in TR1 in like 1996 but when targetting something a d trying it, it never worked, then TR3 and this weapon comes along, and i had forgotten all about it and only seen people do it way later and i was like oh my god...

This is an incredible run and what a watch! I must ask though - are you using dumb down graphics settings? Or is tomb3 PC truly like this? Maybe I'm so used to the old PSX version. Felt like ambient and spot lighting were much more vibrant (unlike this video - temple ruins and aldwych for example). Not blaming you 🤣 just curious!

the game on pc is like this, if you're refering to the brightness it' because i put gamma in the setting to 10 (max). on ps it's 3 and you can't change it, that's why it's very dark on ps (+ frame issues). And thank you :)

@@M4ke4l ah I completely forgot about those drastic gamma settings in tr3. But I'm sure the higher settings definately help with your runs!

salut mon ami comment as tu appris tous çà et tous ces glitchs ??et combien de temps pour maitriser parfaitement le gameplay de lara??je suis en admiration !!au départ je ne comprenais pas les speedruners mais maintenant que je suis à fond dans le jeu ,c'est incroyable,c'est comme faire des miracles en ces temps incertains ,merci beaucoup de partager ton savoir ,je suis sur la partie ng+ (remaster)dans les mines ,galère complète !!!plus de cristal ni munution ,et aucun code pour recharger ,comment faire si prés du but ??

Generally it's because it cancels the falling (or getting up) animations. There also is some glitches where you have to drop a flare on a specific spots.

hi, it's because of the flare i drop at 4:35. when i enter the corner at 4:52 the game thinks the flare is Lara because she is no longer in the map. The flare being on a specific trigger the level flipmap and the water is filled.

If you throw a flare at the same time as falling from a high spot, Lara won't stumble on the ground, saving loads of seconds throughout the run.

Wait, how did you skip Nevada and South Pacific Islands completely?

You need to do the "new game" in a specific Area order (I don't remember the order, sorry).

How come the time at 39:16 says 01:28:33 ?? if it’s meant to be a 38 min speedrun

My guess is that because this is a NG+ run the game remembers the time of the first playthrough and instead of deleting the old one when you're done it adds it. You can also notice that Secrets, kills etc are wrong too.

You can skip nevade in ng+ if you do areas in a specific order in the first playthrough

There is so much wrong with this "Speedrun". Definetly Edited Content, Rapid Fire/infinite Ammo, Godmode, even not playing Nevada and Crashside Mission. It's not possible to straight play the Antarctica Missions, when you only claimed 2 out of 4 Artifacts (Jungle/London).

-"Rapid fire" is a glitch any one can do with a normal version of the game. To convince you you can see it used in the link bellow wich is a run validated by the speedrun community. kzread.info/dash/bejne/d6KNlJivXcfflto.html -infinite Ammo is a New game + feature, if by "godmode" you mean unlimited meds then it's a new game + feature too. -About the Nevada/Pacific skip: You can get to Antartica with 2 artefact on new game+. If you play the first game in a specific order you can skip any area pairing you want in the game, i chose to keep London as it's the shortest, this is not at all a "content edit". The run was played from the first to the last frame in one go.

@@cristianomoscatelli8006 Hey, a little late to the party but you just need to do areas in a specific order in the first playthrough. No idea wich is the anymore but every different area order selection will give you a different order in the ng+, there even are some orders that makes you loop infinitly and you never reaches antartica. just in case: it doesn't work in the remaster.

The new game+ game is bugged, if you do the areas in some order in the first playthrough then the game skips 2 areas, i made sure it would skip nevada and pacific because they are longer.
