Same for potassium to make potassium nitrate mix. Mix banana peels. To one cup. Milk. Add 2 cup. Ground up BBQ charcoal brekets to a fine dust. Mix in old milk jug set in sun for 1 day. Add mixture to a bag of BBQ grill charcoal blocks. Let it stand for 1 week in the shade. When a yellow. Cake grows. Add 6 blocks. Per hole 🕳 3 feet apart. In a row as u water the water will carry the potassium nitrate into the soil for plants to use.

@@marilynwhitfield3051 It's sold crushed as a chicken calcium supplement... I buy it by the 50lb bag at any animal feed store. It comes in smaller volumes also. You can also put dry egg shells in a blender and it does the same thing.

I put an egg, a sardine or minnow, a used coffee filter with coffee grounds, 1/2 tsp of Epsom salt and sprinkle lime and a hand full of bone meal in every tomato hole before transplant. It's an event but it works Amazingly well.

A compost tea of willow branch tips would do the same but better and more naturally. Kelp meal and alfalfa meal contain auxins, gibberellins, and cytokinins as well,without all the fillers. I would avoid antacids and aspirin for gardening due to the other additives in them. Go organic and natural, your body will thank you.

Some aspirin have a coating either orange or white. It masks the taste of the aspirin. It is also sometimes used for children’s aspirin.

The coating can stick around in the water and clog up your sprayer. Also takes forever to disolve compared to uncoated which disappear in a minute or two. Uncoated are also nice to have around if you or somebody in your family is getting older and heart attacks are a concern. People take baby aspirin daily for prevention, but supposedly if you are currently having a heart attack, taking a higher dose (around 325 mg) can increase your odds of surviving it. And the uncoated ones are absorbed much faster.

325mg I believe, but not sure. TEST your solution first!!! You can disolve 325mg in 1 gallon of water a spray your plants as well. BUT TEST FIRST!!!

I never heard of boiling it before, put it in a blender with water, mash it up and dilute. Only use uncoated aspirin.

A little gypsum every year and liquid blue miracle gro at half dose weekly. Very easy cheap and it works perfectly.

How about besns?

Puting asprin tablets under the trunk of a freshly cut xmas tree, then topping the bucket up with fine gravel and water will stop the needles dropping off for a good six weeks.

You can also add no-doze to the solution and your plants can grow 24 hours a day.

Also what’s the rational to boil its , it’s having limited solubility in water like 0.37mg/mL Salicylic acid will degrade if boiled …it’s better to dissolve in warm water of about 40 degree

Can I use ammonium chloride instead of liquid ammonia ?

Can you help me with my zucchini plants? It will produce and start, and then it dies off. I checked the pH. It was 6 to 7 alkaline and this is the first time that I could not grow zucchinis. I have so much last year to give away. Could it be the soil? Any ideas? Thank you.
