I'm shocked at how much improvement mods can make for games. I once modded Morrowind to look like Oblivion and it was great.

What's crazier is not only is this the free default version of dagger fall from gog (utilizing unity dagger fall) but it's also incredibly taxing somehow which is either one of three 3 things old engine jank, extremely powerful graphical mods (mainly the shadows and lighting effects) or poor optimization spoilers it ain't the last one I'm %95 sure

Daggerfall yes. Daggerfall all the way into the pit, into our ever hungry mouths.

The average person doesn’t have his charisma. He's put in the work to produce consistently. If it was so easy everyone would do it. It is a little luck but I don't think it's much.

Skyrim: complete five quests in two minutes in town. Daggerfall: walk 2 hours across the map in real-time to reach one quest location, only for the mission to expire halfway back to the quest giver. This game would give such endless gameplay value so long as it remains challenging.

Pleb tier. Visit a graveyard with more than 1 loot pile spawn and run in and out of the crypt until you have enough money and gear to join the mage's guild and buy a horse. Invest in the recall spell. The recall spell allows you to teleport to a set location from anywhere on the map thus allowing you to cut travel time in half. Repeat the crypt exploit until you have 100000 gold and buy the cheapest ship. All of your travel worries will be solved for most quests with the exception of dungeons.

Watching this later, I love Daggerfall, it was my introduction to Elder Scrolls and in a lot of ways is still the best one

The fact that daggerfall was the most open ended and free is probably what gives it a soft spot for me, later tes games became way too linear and railroaded by comparison

i beat this game exactly once- it's ridiculously difficult in sections

Can't blame him for not knowing that you can bash locked doors open with your weapon (since they removed that from subsequent installments), but it's painful watching him turn back at every locked door lol.

That’s about as long as the manual for running the controls of a hydroelectric dam. You need a degree in dungeoneering to play this game.

@@xXRickTrolledXx Yeah, also if you don't read it you won't know what the dungeon exit looks like. I spent hours in the first dungeon and could find the 2D image on the 2D wall.

Actually the crew itself decides when to work on it so stop blaming your neighbors "boomer" blame the construction crew (Hi former manual-labor worker here, ik tamto has never done physical work in his life so I wont blame him)
