Thank you for sharing your suggestions. I'm sold.
I cannot find your video on making your 5 gallon bucket.
Thank you for an interesting comparison!

Glad you liked it!
I saw how you used gallon jugs in your container tubs. What do you use for the 5 gallon buckets?
What do you do in the winter like here in tn this year it got down to zero
Awesome demonstration and comparison 👏🏽 😊

Thank you!
I tried this way and my plants are all turning yellow 😢 I havent watered in awhile because we've been getting sporadic rain but not over watering. I check regularly that the soil is moist but not wet and can tilt the bucket and see water trickling out of the drainage hole on the side. Any advice? Zuccchini, snow peas, cucumbers, and carrots.

Add Epsom salt to water then water them

Epson salt can help but the color change is probably do to a nutrient deficiency, perhaps the soil, a little liquid fertilizer should help
Where is the video for making self wicking tubs

I notified I didn’t post it for the 5 gallon bucket so I’ll do that right now! Here is the link of me doing it in a mineral tub How to make a Self Wicking tub to grow your own food #gardening #diy #gardeningtips #garden #plants kzread.infoyY1CtMcOGAg?feature=share
I'm "afraid" to leave my tomato plant's roots "bathing" in fertilized water at the bottom of the bucket even if the draining hole will pour out the excess. I do use a commercial fertilizer 24-8-16at half strength. Cause for concern if fertilizing every week? 🤔 But I gotta say that with the recent high summer temperatures here in zone 5b, my tomato plant in its self-wicking bucket _never_ so far had its leaves drooping/curling from lack of water! The other tomato in a traditional pot had to be hydrated much more often. I love the very fast change when the plant is properly watered and the leaves no longer droop and/or curl!

This is the best way to grow them for sure
What is tha square hole small round hole and cover with net???
Forget about how to make the wick bucket tell them about fertilizer how often you fertilice everything else everybody knows about it too much time talk about nothing????
