Great build by Tom, just surprised the turbo inlet is left open, going over dusty roads no doubt will cause dust and crap being sucked into the engine, surprised he hasn’t covered or put netting to it at the very least ….to be honest £50k spend is too much for this platform, I think it’s time to put that to a g82 and with a simple downpipe and tune you get outperform this build

What kind of rims are those?

Would it have made more sense to build a car with XDrive? Honest question. Especially because of the UK weather. Can XDrive handle that much power? Must be difficult to hook up even on a good day. Would be interesting to see some quarter mile times. Must be high 9s on a good run.

Sometimes too much rigidity can slow a car down whereas being a little bit more compliant can improve traction. It depends on the conditions of the track.

This car is pretty dumb, the F80 m3 can barely put a stage 1 at 500hp down, I suppose the only improvement would be at speeds over 90mph. Still fun though, I guess.

Too much power for a rear drive car. The XDrive is the ultimate way to go. Period.

Cold tyres, damp roads, I’ve owned both would take an F80 M3 or M4 over an M5 every day of the week, M5 is just to heavy and refined. M3 is raw and fun.

22 minutes of waffle and 28 seconds of the car...

All talk and no show. Very disappointing
