I cry every time I hear this song on the day he droped this song I was out side the hospital in tears I was just told my 9 year old god son had just past away from DIPG its a brain tumor only kids get with a zero percent survival rate this song come at the worst time but same time the best time I needed to hear it more than anything just wish I had the chance to go back to his room to play it to him

My daughter was 2 when she was diagnosed with leukemia. I can't express the emotion I feel when I hear this song. She's 11 now and perfectly healthy thankfully, but we we will deal with after effects for the rest of her life. You talked about how you can't stand kids getting sick..his statistics are correct, now consider this, only 4% of that goes to ALL childhood cancer. My daughter was given chemotherapy for 4 years with drugs that were never tested on kids and hadn't been tested since the 1970s. Thank you for reacting to this, I'm not sure how I wound up with this as recommended, but I'm glad. P.S. I stayed and listened to your music, and yall kick ass! ❤

Every time I hear this track it makes me tear up. The messages that Tom puts into his work, its like he gives us a piece of his soul

With the exception of "Back to Pooh Corner" by Kenny Loggings, nobody's songs have triggered so many feel like Tom's "Castles", "I Wish", or "Cancer'... I walk away wiping away tears every time, especially "Cancer" which after the passing of my mother, I find it hard to sing along with because I'm choking-up.

Love Angels!! Castles, Cancer, and Angels are probably my favorites by him. I love his stuff. Him and NF are probably two of the realist mofos in the game.

There are a bunch of great southern rappers (the bearded ones)...Brabo Gator, Adan Calhoun, Mesus , Struggle Jennings, That should be enough to get you started down the rabbit hole. If You need an endorsement Tom did a Colab. with a couple of them a few Years back.
