I'm a 58 year old white guy and Tom exposed me to hip-hop for the first time. I tried to listen to a couple of other secular performers but it didn't do anything for me, because they reminded me of the hair metal bands of the mid 80s' ... it was al about getting laid, drugs, booze, and talking about how violent they could be (unless someone can steer me to something popular that doesn't have these themes in them, I don't want to miss that) ... the monsters in power WANT us divided, period. It lets them acquire MORE power easily, because we're too focused on whatever fight we're supposed to be having. I just want to talk to people different than me, nothing more. I just want to listen more than speak without being talked down to or accused of things I've never done. Music like this is starting to make that happen. Dax is what is being called "a high frequency thinker"... TOM can make a hit with anybody but being an extra cool guy, the top-level people like to work with him & Nova, I think Tom has worked with DAX on three songs but the first time they met was when they started shooting this video, Tom & Nova were even an hour late and Dax was hanging out in this off the wall location... some really "hillbilyish" guys came out of some trucks-trailers and Dax thought it was Tom's crew, guess he didn't believe the hole shoot would be about 4 people at the most?... I can't believe you didn't know Dax I am a huge fan of Tom MacDonald that's how I learned about Jack stand another song together call propaganda. Anyhow this song man it took all three of them to make the song work but dax well his lyrics just hit me so hard cuz it's so true. I really do believe this song could end racism if we can get it out there. When he says only a couple centuries. And yeah he's still pissed but just say you're sorry and be nice I don't think he's asking us to apologize I'm a white female by the way not that that should matter but I don't think he's in apologize to him apologize that his ancestors were treated poorly but that has nothing to do with us now.
