I honestly hated Tom King’s run, it was just prolonged mischaracterization of every character, boring and bland, hated the War of Riddles and Jokes, but I’ll give him props for 1) Yassified Joker from Batman/Catwoman 2) That one time where he was just talking abt how he’d fuck Batman better than Catwoman (I could have gone my whole life without hearing abt his exotic dreams) and 3) His conversation with Catwoman in the church Other than that… No I don’t like it

Exactly my words, the way I see it King just doesn't understand the DC characters, he just wanted to tell a story about his waifu Catwoman and beta male Batman. Hated War of Riddles and Jokes too. I was told it's a comic book a DC fan can't miss, so I bought it and I didn't even finish it. Which is pathetic, because it's really short. Yet it feels like it has 10 thousand pages, it's so boring. But yeah, I overal like the relationship Joker and Selina have, that I feel fits the rivalship they had always have. That's kinda cute

When I was putting the name tags on the characters, I could see only Nightwing as that guy :D Feels in-character for him Well, of course :D That's why Lego Batman referenced this movie :D It's a joke reference on how Ledger jokingly referenced Jenny Maguire. Which Lego Batman actually foreshadowed by having Batman watching the movie and laughing about it at the beginning.... God. Lego Batman was such a well written movie.

I kind of hate the 2 people fighting over someone else when it’s between a guy and a girl Maybe it’s because, for me, I always know I will make them be gay >:) there are no stakes in the fight for the outcome (unless the girl argues her case well enough). On the other hand I don’t like it because it detracts from the time they could spend being gay lmao. That’s just me tho, don’t take it personally or anything

It's almost like batman is just one giant soap opera and in the night the soap opera dons the Cape and mask and sets course into Gotham to set some shite into motion with a side of blood and fists. The perfect narrative but a narrative that is written is only more perfect as long as the characters are written to explore and write it on par to the creators imagination. Don't know why I said all this but heck it felt right, plus it's batman and his wedding, as crazy as things like that get, it simply makes me reflect on certain thoughts that are as whack as that. Either way I'm so glad I got to see more of your vids again hun really haven't ever felt KZread was ever worth going to until I noticed your astounding and all round perpetually insightful batman knowledge made elementary and comedic and lovely as the creator herself. Ever since Selina had purposed to him Joker had been jealous wishing that he was in the position Selina was in once she had purposed to him. But that music was his way of getting him back. "You had me at shut up" Joker said pulling him into a kiss, as Bruce held him tightly in his arms. "I hate you Joker" Bruce told him putting his hand on Joker's cheek as rain began to fall. "I hate you too bats~" Joker added as thunder roared once their lips met again. Hope you enjoyed that short story I'll be excited to write more in the comments for you if you want either way I'm going to because I just want this to be a thing already and I want them to kiss.

A night at roxbury, it's a comedy, best watch when you're drunk with friends :D Well, for a start, King is kind of a jerk. Then, his comics are overpriced (there was one issue of literally Batman chasing a villain - LITERALLY just that, LITERALLY Batman running and trying to catch someone - and it was full price. Third, he's rather... sentimental? When it comes to his work? I'm not saying everything needs ton of action, but these are COMIC BOOKS XD And they're boring. They're boring and don't make much sense either. And they don't have any other qualities... Like, for an example, idk - Batman Europa - doesn't make ANY SENSE, has a lame story, yet it's executed in an exciting way - especially thanks to the art, the master art really helps to keep your attention. King's comics bring NOTHING to the table. All he does with the characters feels arbitrary and shallow.... I greatly feel that he doesn't understand the characters. Just look at the "Pray with me Batman" section of this video... Does that look right to you? Or does that look more like an out of context scene? Yeah.

i forgot to comment on this even tho ive been unhealthily rewatching it literally since you uploaded it XD okay now this is so funny, everything about this 'so long f boys weeee' , bruce and joker just vibin', ALFRED NOO OMG XDD, dick laughing bHAHA, the most fitting lego batman reference, and just- can i just vent about how hilarious imagining joker saying "you don't drag me down, i...drag... me... down" is?? i loose it at that part everytime also it caught me off guard by how many folks feel the same way about the tom king run, i thought i was the only one gcjc (when you somehow rewrite your comment from scratch even tho you don't remember it because youtube deleted it with no warning or reason but you'll go to any lenght to make zaly appreciate this holy creation)
