We've been to a couple of his concerts, Tom married young we did, in 1953, she was 16 me 18, we are still together, our 70th wedding anniversary just past, she is suffering with Alzheimer's. We have a lovely supporting family, who could ask for more.

I saw this for the first time today after viewing his many performances on the British Talent show. I am so glad I watched his many songs performed solo and with the many talented singers first as it highlighted his versatility. I was moved by his incredibly rich voice, the applause of the audience for an 80 year still able to capture the sincere appreciation of so many!! I am a few years older than him. I also would haunt my mum to buy your latest recordings. Here we are now in 2023 and I'm still completely addicted to you. I have your records and enjoy them to this day. My only one regret is not being able to meet you even though I've been to numerous concerts of yours. That would be a dream come true to finally meet you. I'm going to be 64 years old in next February. I'd absolutely love to meet you here in USA, Southern New England. I still believe that dreams can come true. Yes, I'm married for going on 46 years. I've been many states to see your shows. We were I Nashville in May. Good show as always. I'm in Tennessee 4 or 5 times a year. It's my home away from home. I'm a nurse. I'm in my 50's. I never met him but he seemed to have a reputation of being a very nice person, how he has the patience to answer the same boring questions time after time, thank you for giving us a lot of pleasure with your music.

I was lucky to be in at the beginning of the best era of all time, the late 50's and 60's. I saw the beginning of Elvis', Tom Jones and all the Liverpool groups, Cliff Richard and the American groups and singers. I am now 81 years of age and all I ever wish for is a time machine to go back in time and do it all over again. I have been lucky enough to see them all at small venues when they were all just starting out.

One word describes Tom.....'Brilliant'!👍

I always loved him and still do. He was great on the Voice! I saw him at the Latin Casino in Camden, New Jersey back in the early 1970's. I was sitting in the second row from the stage. His pants were so tight that they had split. Ladies were tossing their underwear on stage. And why not? He was and still is a looker and heartthrob! Where so many aged singers has lost their voice he is still going strong. I thought that he was the Donut on the Masked Singer. It sounded so much like him but it was John Schneider. His voice was so strong then I had to second guess my guess and listen more closely. I couldn't believe that it was John! If he were to tour again I would try to see him even 50 some years later.

Tom's story is not sad, thats just click bait. We all have our ups and downs in life some of which are truly sad. Tom is no diferent from the rest out there, apart from having been blesed with a fantastic voice, enabling him to have a very rich and sucessful career. Tom is a music legend, still has the voice and charisma to this day.

I wouldn’t call his life a “sad life.” Everybody has sad moments, including Tom Jones, but I think any man living today would love to trade places with him.

Sad is not a word that comes to mind. Meaningful and full are better words. We all have sadness in our lives and Tom is a person who provides joy to many. I would hope that his life too has been joyful. Thanks for the joy that comes when listening and watching you Sir Tom.

This was one of the most important life stories I’ve heard ,as my dad came from the Rhonda and my great grandma was a Woodford ,my grandads name was Davies ,my dad had the most powerful tenor voice just like Tom,sadly he was injured during the war in the navy ,but he still installed all his children the love of music, there was six of us and we all have the gift of singing,good on you Tom dia Bach.

Yet, he ignored his son, born out of wedlock. His son never asked for a pence from Tom who has never made an effort to meet him, speak with him... yes, he's a great singer but... he was a horrible husband and made his wife cry many, many times and ignored his son who lived in poverty until he made his career from singing.

This man has been SHAMELESS! Our good friend and neighbour, Greta was such a fan! As well as her friend, my mother. The difference is, my mother was ONLY a normal fan, but what it did to GRETA, when I mentioned they had advertised that her favourite, Tom Jones was going to be on T.V. . was a surprise! Greta looked SHOCKED! "What now?" Greta said. So I replied, no - not a few WEEKS. Well, Greta wasn't the same, until the special day arrived, and she came round to us, to watch this excellent performance. So my mother asked Greta how she liked the show. Greta, amazingly, didn't show any signs of pleasure. In fact, she looked grim for a couple of weeks, until she had got over seeing her idol perform! ( IS that "enjoying" yourself?

I don't think Tom Jones should be sad at all! He lived life to the fullest ! Sure we all may do things we probably aren't proud of but Tom loved and enjoyed what he did! He was a man of a man. And he knew it! Every woman wanted a piece of him' If he's sad at all he may feel a little guilt! Guilty of the way he did his wife , although you can't bring it back. You can't undo it! Let it be! It's all done and over with so enjoy the life you have in front of you/ enjoy the God given voice you have! Jones is one heck of a singer and I love his voice! I never was much into Mr Jones. But my grandmother when Mr Jones was on TV she was there. He definitely was loved by all Ladies. Another great 60s singer.

What I hate when people start talking baloney. Tom Jones never had it so good and had a lot of affairs since he was able to live out his life as a casual single career man. He was most fortunate since he had a dedicated wife waiting at home compared to those that truly upheld their own marriage vows. So enough of the crying my eyes out for Tom Jones. Yes, he had an incredible singing talent but that comes with the territory in his career which he made a lot of money and fame.

I have been a fan since the 70s and will love him for the rest of my life. He is the best singer of all ❤

I’ve listened to the narrative of the “Tom Jones Story” in its entirety. It’s a very humbling insight to the amazing singer that I’ve always known Tom Jones to be. As a young teen, I had the good fortune of going to see him perform when my parents purchased tickets. Watching Tom Jones perform on stage left long lasting memories of this “Super Icon”! The song… “Green Green Grass of Home”, stands out in my mind. One of my all-time favourites for sure. It’s definitely one of those moments you never forget. Even as young as I was, I feel grateful to have been able to partake in the shows that he put on when he came to Calgary. Simply amazing!!…

I became a fan of Tom Jones when his first single came out - my opinion of him soon changed when I learnt of his disgusting behaviour with women. I cannot understand how any woman would want to support his career - in my opinion Tom Jones - by the way he carried on with the numerous women in his life and how he drove his wife to lead a very lonely life to the point where she felt too uncomfortable to appear in public - played a large part in her illness. You did not mention his son Mark and how he assisted his father in being introduced to all his adoring fans after his shows. They referred to it as the work bench. A great son he turned out. It is all out there if anyone would care to read about it. I feel the devil is waiting for you Tom and Mark.
