I appreciate the fact that you said that Tom Jones was not new to you but this song was. Some folks act like they never heard of him before they react to it but he has made some pretty well known songs over the years. You seem very genuine and every time I see this video I have the same reaction you did. How is it possible to say so many meaningful words in such an emotional way in less than what, three minutes? Sometimes... Magic is real and this time capsule from 1967 is truly magical! Google the year 1967 to get an idea of how old this song is... Vietnam was raging... LBJ was President... My Uncle died (Ok, It's true but I just threw that in for the Hell of it). But you get the picture. Some things are just timeless and cross all boundaries. Well done TJ and well done SKS!

The wonderful Sir Tom made this song his own and yes Lonnie wrote it and his son dueted with Sir Tom.................HOWEVER (LOL) that is a common misconception as Lonnie wrote it in 1961 when Sir Tom was totally unknown and singing with The Tommy Scott Orchestra in Welsh Wales. Tom was not known until 1963 :)

I’m 51, so I’ve heard of Tom Jones before, but when I was around 21, I had just recently broke off a three-year relationship because I caught him cheating on me red-handed with my best friend. I swear to God this was just a coincidence, I turned on the radio, and this was the song that was playing. I fell apart so fast I had to pull over because I couldn’t see the road. I had to call my mother to come pick me up and get my dad to drive the car home, because I couldn’t stop crying. It just rips me apart every time I hear this song, and even though that was a long time ago, and we actually patched things up and got back together, and are still together, it’s incredible how a song can bring back such painful memories so quickly, as if no time has passed at all. You can’t tell, but right now I have tears streaming down my cheeks, and while I love Tom Jones, I just can’t watch anymore, because I know exactly what he meant when he said I’m never going to fall in love again, because that’s exactly how I felt when I walked in on my partner and my best friend, who is no longer my best friend obviously. It took a long time, but eventually I offered forgiveness, because we all make mistakes, and I’m glad that I did, but the emotion is still there very deep inside, it only takes one song to bring it right to the surface, and turn me into a blubbering idiot!

My mother, sister and I went to see Tom Jones in person many years ago when he came to our state. He was a hugh heart throb back then. In person, his voice was absolutely unbelievable. The power and emotion and clarity put chills through your body no matter what he sang. He was very sexy too with the dancing he would do during some of his songs. He's now 80 years old and sings just as good as bach then. Amazing God gifted talent!

Tom Jones and Elvis were great friends. They were a lot alike. Tom Jones was knighted by Queen Elizabeth and is now Sir Tom Jones, Up until 2019 (at 80 years old) he was a judge on Britain's The Voice. If you really liked him doing " I'll never fall in love again" go find the youtube video of him turning his chair around for the son of the guy that wrote I'll never fall in love again and react to that as they sing it together. His moves are no longer tireless ( hip replacements) but his voice is as mellow as ever!!!!

Tom replied, I'm Welsh, we all sing like that ~ They remained friendly rivels, even with Pricilla to this day. Glad you enjoyed ~ ///=^} ~

Live performance damn. How many artists can you name could come out on stage and bang that out. Can anyone say goosebumps LOL. Much love for the post cause I grew up listening to Tom and because of so many other great artists were around back then Tom was or got lost in the crowd. But now we can look back and truly appreciate his talent and booming voice.

Saw Tom in Las Vegas in 1979 when I was 16 it was absolutely crazy watching women throwing panties and room keys on the stage lol never seen anything like it in my life. My first Tom song was what's new pussy cat and that's what I would request. Thx for sharing...♡

Great reaction. Tom Jones is a Legend. He is from Wales and is the son of a coal miner. He is still singing today at 80 years old and is a judge on The Voice UK version. He was actually dubbed “The Voice “ during his career due to his vocal power which few could match. Extremely good looking and confident performer. He sings almost every genre and has had hit songs and albums in every decade from the 60s to the 2000s. Check out his TV show from 1969 to 71 for many different styles and great duets with the biggest names in show biz. Many clips are on you tube. Check out the song SEE SAW from 1969 tv show for a look at his energy singing and dancing Live with no auto tune or lip syncing.

Tom has a way of stimulating the estrogen to a peak level inside of a woman. He has a vocal range that rivals and the opera singer, and a sensuality that makes any crooner jealous. And he sings so relax it’s effortless. The sound just floats out of his mouth, his face is not contorted his body is relaxed. How do you feel that he’s singing from his soul that would be another entertainer like him😊
