This is the Tom that i love. He is so enthusiastic and sweet. Due to the cynicism and mockery by the tabloid press during and after his fling with Taylor Swift, he has become more subdued in his public persona. I am sure he is still like this in his private life. He is still the nicest guy though but has firmly communicated that his private life is private. He is so talented and so successful with The Night Manager and Kong, Skull Island. Wishing him the best of everything because he deserves it!

He is not like that anymore. That bullying killed him in a way. Suddenly he got old and never recovered. I love him anyway, but it's sad to see him like this...

His comment about not thinking he's better than anyone else says lots about the way he was brought up. That was drilled into my head by my mother. I think we also have to thank his parents for the kind of person he is. He is a beautiful man inside and our. I just hope that recent events don't change his wonderful outlook on life and his personality.

I love how Tom was acting like it was so hard for him to answer the sexiest actor question, knowing full well he wanted to say Chris the whole time.

"Dance more" Is there any wiser advice than that? I'm totally in love with this man.

aww bless, I miss seeing him like this before the mean press and bad fans. Also, it's clear when certain fans haven't watched interviews like this because they'll make jokes about him ogling/"thirsting after" certain co-stars (women), when really he's very respectful. It's why so many of the people he's worked with seem to be so genuinely fond of him.

He is truly a genuine down-to-earth man!!!! And EXTREMELY easy on the eyes!!! I would've melted if he sang "Happy birthday" to me!!!!

I am 16, so it would be really strange for me to have motherly feelings at all, but apparentely I do have some, but I tell my friends that I want to have a father like him because of the obvious

i liked tom as an actor but after seeing this interview, i now need a poster of him at the door of my bedroom to see him every morning when i get up for reminding me to "dance more"! :D what an inspiring, happy person he is!

EXACTLY. As I said in another comment, I'm a girl and do think he's gorgeous, but I respect him more than anything. I look up to him more as a role model than as a sex symbol.

This is a wonderful interview. The interviewer actually is allowing Tom to speak and give in incredibly long answers and is jumping off what is he saying rather then being incredibly robotic about the entire process.

This interview made me change my view on Tom, he seems like a super chill guy plus he’s really funny.

I thought that was just a scripted joke? Also it was more of an exaggeration, lol. Everyone's done bad things to get where they are. I'm sure he's done plenty of bad things in his time, but at the time being, it seems like he's honestly trying to be the best person he can be, which is turning out to be a pretty sweet person.

If Tom was Odin, right after he said he is no better or worse than anyone, he would have said they can't come to a party with him because they would all be goats at a feast. >.> Love that Tom is so genuine and not at all like that.

I loved what he said about how he conquers fear, and the fact that he could include 'fait accompli' so casually is just beautiful.

This is my favourite of his interviews that I've seen so far. Carefree, genuine and having a laugh
