Stunning eyelook, loved how you applied the dark color, most of youtubers do not know that less is actually more when it comes to dark shadows. It is frustrating when you cannot pickup the color, I use finger too sometimes to apply their shades especially the toppers. If that happens to you use tape to remove the hard panned top layer, just be careful, go super light with it to not remove too much product. Many of Tom Ford do that and it is disappointing given how much they cost. I got this issue with their latest from their Soleil collection - Soleil Neige. I can hardly get any color from one of their shades, but other than that they are very beautiful and elegant - easy to wear from morning to evening just need to know how to make them work. Judging from this review I am sure you would love the Desert Fox quad from Tom Ford, It is absolutely stunning. It is creamy and the result can be a beautiful sunset matte look Give it a try. Stay well and keep up the great work.

I agree, it can be frustrating when you pay so much money for 4 shadows. The problem with Tiger Eye is that 3 of the 4 got hard pan. I just looked at the Desert Fox! Looks so pretty!! 😍😍

The new Extreme Badass Metal Lust quad looks so beautiful, will you be trying it out?

I also wish TF would release the wet/dry formula in more colors!! I have ordered that Extreme Badass quad twice now, right within a few minutes of it going live and after a few days i get an email that it is out of stock, or this last time it says it will be another 2-3 weeks until they can get more product in.. i guess it’s in huge demand!!🤷‍♀️

Such an extreme opposite experience from mine …. I LOVE these palettes and they didn’t develop hard pan at all! an inconsistency on formulation, I guess? I use them with a brush and I’m not wetting them. I’m definitely purchasing the third one 🥰 Keep us posted if you exchanged them and if they worked better. XO! 😘

I did swap it with the smokey one and let me to tell you I am in love with that palette. I will have a video coming up today using that one. I’m slightly jealous it works for you because I think it is so beautiful and I want it to work for me too😂😂 ❤️❤️

I bought the peche instead of these,at least it has limited edition packaging 🥰I'm a Tom Ford hoarder over 50 quads but haven't been exited since mercurial, excellent wet dry palette😉

I got the smokey all matte one and the Tiger eye. I figured I would use the shiny shades from Tiger with the Matte Smokey palette. I haven't got them yet but I used 40.00 in Nordstrom bucks and I had 100.00 rouge certificate from Sephora, so over all I only paid 60.00 for both palettes!

I ordered both quads you purchased for basically the same reasons. Mine are being delivered today. The matte formula is incredible!! So creamy and blendable!! The shimmer formula is awful! I still would pick the wet/dry formula over these! I will pick up the Smokey one since it’s all matte!!

The only quad I have from TF is the holiday one and it was a total disappointment. So the launch before this one I skipped. This time I decided to try it out again and see if this new formula changes my mind on the brand 😆🙈 thanks for you great review. I didn’t have a store close by that had it in stock so now I have to wait for it to get to me 😫 also I ordered the Rose Topaz and so glad I did since it’s the one you had the least amount of issues with.

Thanks for the review! TF is insanely expensive. Maybe you can salvage the hard pan, Tara Lynn uses scotch tape to lift this hard layer.. and no more fingers! The peach shade is sooo pretty!

Yes, no more fingers😂😂 i do use tape on some shades.. but for that price I think we shouldn’t have to🥰 It also happens to some Pat Mcgrath shadows, but I still use them😉

hmmm, I have Nude Dip and it's very neutral, I wonder if it's very similar to Tiger eye and Rose Quartz almost as if they separated them and created 2 palettes?? what do you think?

Honestly I'm flummoxed as to what TF is doing. The past few palettes haven't been very good at all. He seriously needs to bring back the wet/dry formula. I'm not paying almost $90 for a quad that has three definite shades. The Rephr no. 28 brush was created by our brilliantly talented, sorely missed Mel Thompson. She loved a certain mac brush that wasn't available anymore. So, after speaking with the guys at Rephr, they set about creating this awesome synthetic brush - which is specifically for creamy/shimmery shadows. I truly miss Mel so much, not only was she extremely talented and jaw droppingly beautiful but her heart and soul was pure. 🕊🕊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🕊🕊 Thank you for a fantastic vid. 💗💗💗💗 PS : I don't drink alcohol but my son loves the sound of the cocktail. Thank yooooooooooo 😊💛

Thank you for this review!! I have seen a few fairly positive reviews on these, but they are so basic in colour that I don't need them in my collection. I was worried that people were excited during first impressions for a creamy TF quad, but wondered if they'd have the longevity in my collection, whether they'd dry up in a year from now... seeing yours getting hard pan so soon has given me the willpower to pass on these, to not take the chance with such an expensive item and enjoy what I have instead 😊

I really think that for such an expensive palette we should not have to struggle with hard pan! The matte formula is incredible though!! I actually went back and got the smokey one because it was all matte formula! ❤️

I own Nude Dip and have always thought that was enough for me, the only more cool toned taupe color scheme that I adore, but now this Rose Topaz, sigh. It looks beautiful, I love how sophisticated that sparkle shade is. Man. I might have to request it for Valentine’s Day.

I saw these pop up on Sephora app last night along with the bitter peach one and some new lipsticks. When I see these I see bridal eye makeup, very elegant, especially the rose one. That peachy one looked very pretty and is very much my kind of colour story but I wouldn’t buy it for that price. Thanks for the honest review, love that you don’t sugar coat things, especially for that price point. Love the lipstick though, I think that was the real standout here ❤️

Yes, love the Tom Ford lipsticks!! They are so pigmented and creamy! I do like the mattes from this new formulation! It is beautiful and creamy!! I feel that for that price range with only four shades every single one needs to be perfect. With the tiger eye palette 3 of the 4 got hard pan…

@@heels2flats I have seen a few other reviews and some of them are great! And I did talk to a toM ford associate and they said they’ve had some inconsistencies in the palettes. I did swap the tiger eye one with the smokey quartz .. and let me tell you I am so glad I did. I have a video coming out today using that one.

The only Tom Ford I’ve gotten besides lip products was the nude dip eye quad. I have tried and tried to work with this but was underwhelmed. Lots of annoying fallout and colors that once applied are just ok but not great. So I was curious about your thoughts on these. When one color out of 4 is good at $89? Even if you happen to like the one quad, I’m put off. As a company they are making high end dollars and can do better. I’m over it. Thanks so much for confirming for me what I already thought. There are way better eye color products out there at way better prices. Thanks for what you do!

I think tiger eye looks gorgeous on you. Is it possible that putting your finger in it is what caused the hard pan ? The oils from your skin. I ordered this and I hope it doesn’t happen to me. I’m going to avoid my fingers and only use my brushes.

It could be. I did clean the hard pan with a tape and brought it back to life. I used only a brush after and I still had an issue with hard panning:( i think i got a bad palette, it seems like I’m one of the very few that has this issue

At $90, I don’t see the value in a quad that gets hard pan. I’d go for the Pat McGrath Motherships or latest holiday palette. I do enjoy the Lancôme quints at $50. Then have enough pigment to be effective, yet blend beautifully.

You know, I’ve never tried the Lancome quints!!! But I agree for the $90 price tag should NOT have hard pan. The Smokey Quartz however has become my favorite palette I have😍

Somehow I think his other eyeshadows are a lot better than these. The formula's are always creamy and no fall out ever. These have very little payoff for the hefty price tag.

Tania, you kept on adding and adding color. I hardly saw anything. Honestly seems it took you too long to make it work. Doesn't seems to be worth the price. I had other 4 palettes from Tom Ford and feel the same. Takes me to long to make the shadows work

Very confusing review “this” …. Use too much. Please use the name of the palet and name of the shade - otherwise I had no idea what you were referring to. Separate thing is that both pallets were overpriced and I agree about not being worth the money.

Interesting. I am def a light skin tone ( maybe light medium when I am self tan). All my foundations are in the light section. Maybe the undertone of that color is very different than your skin and it shows up more on you!
