hahaha this music is killing me. the escalation at 2:17 is like a chase scene beginning, meanwhile Tom Dwan is just describing banal details of his college experience 😂

Perfect mind, for the perfect time in online poker history. Games were easy then, and he was ahead of his time. Then, when Online Poker went bad, he moved on, to high stakes live poker. He has made alot of correct moves.
It’s great to see the human side of Dwan, certainly a rare opportunity. Typically, we see him as a cold, bluffing machine that hardly says much. Awesome interview on his climb to success.
He is alot less awkward, explains things better, is more social and does better interviews these days
Dwan looks like he belongs on startrek
those were the times when Dwan was making $1k/hr by simply 3betting an opponent in position pf and cbetting on the flop

That's kind of the beauty of Poker. If you start losing to better players, just start playing rec and weak players. Dwan is looking weak at Poker at Night now, but the guy can always go steal money from idiots online.

online poker is fucking rigged. everytime i was winning a lot i was inevitably losing it all in the end. i won $560 from $5 in one day laddering on zoom holdem. i made like a $1000 from $100 playing zoom omaha. then at some point u just dont win, u cant hit a hand, u cant hold while being favourite in the hand and doesnt matter the % of ur equity, even 95% hand still loses to some running bullshit or miracle 2 outer. idk it just seems like they are using bots against real players like why the fuck would they let another real player to win like that against me especially if i was running completely fine before? it just seems like they switch algorithms for my account to losing so that i just cant fucking win anything no matter what

@@tony_elemento ive got exactly the same on pokerstars i can show you my poker tracker and its not even that im losing but every time i go break even that happens then i go break even and it happens again and when it happens its like 3 4 hands in a row that took me hours to make that bb's its ridiculous .. specially because the players that call cash out even with a full house so i dont know whats happening they most of the times dont win aswell but poker stars wins the pot instead... if they call my all in with KK and ive got AK they will cash out and i know i got fucked and im losing it in the river probably "specially the river" they call while losing all in then the river comes and gives the miracle card.. then i go up until break even to get the same shit all over again
